Battle Stadium Daily Chit-Chat [Everyone go on the PO server please :D]

i really dont know a lot about battling ( i lose a lot, im more of a collector)
but i have come to realize that a lot of teams use pre - ordained concepts on smogon and other such websites
and have found that a lot of my favorite pokemon can't be used because they dont have the type coverage and movepool that other diverse pokemon have
I miss being able to put a ursarang on my team also i hate seeing heatran i have to put a gardevoir on my team just to stop it
 
trace nullifies choice scarf heatran and with disable on gardevoir i can effectly stop any heatran sweeps on my team or give me enough time to stall with blissey or crocune
 
Well I mean if thats the case he could sorta use vappy/gyara/heatran/t-tar/ etc.
 
FOCUS boom takes care of heatran if he stays in and t tar if he shows his face gardevoir with thunderbolt can ohko vappy and gyara
my gardevoir carries these moves
disable
thunderbolt
focus blast
psychic

i mean its not a end all solution that brings my team together but im definatly not wasting a slot

again i think were missing the point, gardevoir is that while its not the end all solution to battling ( im not making a team of 6 gardevoirs ) i think its a valuable counter switch in and can hold its own
the fact is i dont like using gardevoir i think its design is not unique and while i would not put one normaly on my team i now have to if i want my team of jirachi and celebi to survive against a heatran sweep

Again i really apologize if you think im insulting your favorite pokemon i do not mean to do so
 
Yes because it doesnt die to the pokemon its supposed to be countering.
 
hey syndrome you know that focus blast does NOT always miss? also im probably going to use focus blast on heatran to kill it so if you do switch to tyranitar you just sacrificed a tyranitar????? nice move
rite i hope so also its pretty much about preference porygon2 is a nice tracer
btw heres some statistics
porygon 2 has 105 spec attack base and 95 base special defense
gardevoir has 125 spec attack base and 115 special defense base
btw this is online i don't need to spell
i do know that gardevoir does not have good def or att but serioiusly im not going to counter a physical attacker with gardevoir.... give me a break

Gardevoir lost 34020% of its health.
Gardevoir was demolished. V_V

That's why you should be using P2 over Gardevoir. It's not pursuit weak (which is honestly a huge threat in today's metagame).
 
you know whats funny and i use focus blast that was meant for heatran.... scizor is dead because focus plast kills scizor... hooray i rejoice
oh you mean i spend a entire turn not doing anything??? thats different of course then im screwed
also you think i dont know that scizor is one of the most common pursuit users?????

42% - 49.6% Support Gardy F-Blast v. CB Scizor

Scizor gets to OHKO with U-Turn, Pursuit or Bug Bite. Your argument isn't really going anywhere lol.
 
That and the fact that EVERYTHING (yeah, everything) in OU can sorta smash gardy lol.
