    Hey guys

Any of you still playing BF4? (I am and the current on/off server lag is awful) or getting BF1? (I'll be getting this and getting angry on day 1)

If so, what paltform? I'm thinking of renting a server for either, I could always gear it up as a PC (us, the forum, not the platform!) on the PS4, would you guys want a regular server?

    PC.

Well As far as BF1 is concerned, I'm double thinking whether i should get it on launch or not. Maybe after Infinite Warfare, which btw I WILL be getting as a risky investment. I'd talk about IWarfare in a different thread.

I've seen much of the gameplay through other people's content and I do have to say that I'm quite 60-40 on this one. 60% is telling me I should get it, it be the best sh*t ever since Ice cream, whole 40% is telling me that if I played BF4 i ton, everything will feel like a reskin..

weird thinking from me but that's how i roll.

Getting it on early release for the XBOX One. Can't wait. Finally a unique setting for a MP FPS.

BATTLEFIELD 1. I'M GOING TO DEFINITELY GET THE GAME ON PC SINCE ITS MY PLATFORM OF CHOICE AND I WOULD LIKE TO PLAY SOME GOOD OLE MULTIPLAYER WITH SOME OF YOU FELLOW BADASSES AND BADASSAURUSES PRETTY SOON.

anyway, I've played the beta and I was quite impressed for the most part. Some may argue that the game will feel just like a reskin of Battlefield 4, but you all know how I feel about them.. THEY ARE MISSING AN OPPORTUNITY OR THEY WOULD RATHER SAVE THEIR MONEY BECAUSE THEY CAN'T AFFORD OR HAVE INVESTMENTS OR SOME SHADY SH*T

I'll be sticking with BF4 for my shooting. Wasn't impressed before with one, still not impressed with one, won't be impressed with one. The day I pay $60 for a glorified BF4 mod will be the day I own the whitehouse.

BF coulda had something cool! They coulda been a bit more accurate to WWI, but nope, just a whole bunch of people sprinting around with automatic weapons and divebombing with planes and tanks like always.

Besides, I'm not big on WWI anyways, and if for some reason I decide I need a fix of trench warfare, I'll just boot up Verdun. Especially when they add vehicles!

Well the glorified BF4 mod was Hardline, not 1.

I don't think WW1 was a good choice of setting either, it's more like some alt world game set in the mid 20s than anything like WW1. But it plays a lot smoother than 4 and is pretty fun so I'll be getting it. It's more balanced too.

Have always meant to try Verdun though, is it any good?

Hardline wasn't a glorified mod either, it barely resembled a playable game, nevermind a battlefield game :L

I miiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiight pick up Battlefield 1 sometime? I kinda like the whole WW1 thing, (Better than World War 2 at least; if you've played very many First Person shooters you've probably killed more Nazis than the soldiers in the war.) but the game doesn't really look like anything particularly impressive. Now, I could totally be wrong about that observation, but I really don't have a reason to believe otherwise so far.

And... Battlefield 4 just doesn't really interest me. While I do enjoy playing the previous games with my brother, I'm not really impressed with Battlefield 4. It's just... Not really my kinda game. While I'm sure it's good, or at least better than Call of Duty, and I do understand the appeal, I don't like Multiplayer focused games all that much. My social anxiety kinda translates over into video games for some reason.

Verdun has a brutal learning curve at first from my experience. It's a lot different from other FPS I've played... But yes, is good.

Unlike everyone else I found Hardline to be fine. It was an overpriced DLC yes, but game-wise everything worked and played just like 4 and 3 with a few tacky police related features. Block Party on Conquest 64 players is still one of the best battlefield moments I've had, it's more gritty war-like than anything I've seen in a BF game. I install HL just to play that map sometimes...

My thoughts are I can't wait until The Great War YouTube channel breaks it all down.

I have BF4 on PC, but it's one of the games I dropped when I ran out of friends to play with.
As for BF1 I don't think I'm gonna get it. I mean it looks interesting, but I think I'm burnt out on the arcade first person shooter genre after playing them constantly since the days of Halo 2.
