Bleh. New Zealand fails. We failed at the horse events.

BTW, that gymnastics was amazing. Go Nastia.
 
i watched womens all around gymnastics yesterday and dang that girl from china had to no older than 12 years old.

Those 2 american girls that won gold and silver were really great doing crazy flips on a tiny balance beam. I thought it was funny because i had no idea what was going on but the announcers were going crazy
 
Canada Finally has Metals! :D

All I can say is... Finally, jeez... j/k. Great job Team Canada! :D

For those interested, metals were received in the following categories;

Gold (1): Carol Huynh, 48kg weight class of Women's Wrestling
Silver (1): David Calder and Scott Frandsen, Men's pair Rowing
Bronze (1): Tonya Verbeek, 55kg weight class of Women's Wrestling

Lets go Canada, lets go!

We need some new good Aussie men in the pool. I mean, no Gold yet for us in the mens swimming! :( Until the 1500m hopefully :D

It's a shame Thorpe retired so early!
 
Yes it is a shame he retired, he said he was getting old but he was still young xD

If we had Thorpe we would have like 30 gold medals now xD, I have been watching Phelps closely and he is the father of Arceus A.K.A a god xD

Phelps is just a machine, as is Usain Bolt- He broke the 100m WR without even trying.

I'm just gutted that my sport (Trampolining) wasnt televised other than at 3:00 am :|
 
Man, 4 gold medals for the Brits! I saw Rebecca Adlington, and, well, she was very good. She dominated the whole 800m, and it was awesome when she beat the WR by 2.12 seconds!

And i beleive there is a final tomorrow (one with 2 competing for gold) which has two Brits in it! Super Saturday for the British!

I think Phelps is superhuman, or cheating in someway XD. A perfect streak of 7 golds, 6 of which he broke world records in. Very impressive!

Britain's most successful day in the Olympics for 100 years today. Shame they've got rid of a couple of cycling event to make way for new sports (although we should win the BMXing).

There's way too many events in the swimming.

We'll have to see, but I kinda have a feeling it will be the USA that wins the Mens BMXing. As for Womens, Canada may take it. Sam Cools has been ranked the best in the world a few times.

Oh and swimming... ya there's to many events.
 
phelps set the record for 8 gold medals! He only did 1/4 of the race too for his last medal. The entire us team pulled there own on the relay.

One of my friends hase a theory. I think they use drugs (ones that can fool the tests), and maybe a side effect is a stunt in their growth? I think they're average age is 16 (they were talking about one of them, they said they were 16!), they look 12 to me!

Or maybe they don't want them to get older, and if they are, they'll be less flexible.

Michael Phelps has more gold medals than the Philippines... In this one Olympics alone.
Heck, one event.

My poor friend was complaining about this earlier.
