Satoshi Tajiri based all of his Pokemon drawings off of different bugs that he saw as a child. I don't know how anyone could ever think these things were real. Tajiri is just like any other Japanese man only he was able to take his ideas as a child and make it his life's work.

Generally i don't think they excist out side of our minds and our game systems, but that's my opinion, we don't know what's out there to be honest, although I doubt it highly that pokemon excist.

I think I speak for everyone when I say that I WANT pokemon to exist... but the whole idea of them being here on earth is just too hard to swallow.
