"Best" and "favourite" are different things, so there's no "in other words" with this...
Best is something justifyably superior than everything else compared to it.
Favourite is what one individually finds to be most preferrable.

I think the best band ever is Metallica. however, Metallica is far from the high end on my list of bands I like.

My favourite is Rammstein, by the way.
 
My Chemical Romance <3

A lot of people think they are "emo" or fake or whatever... But I honestly couldn't care less about what other people think. That band has helped me through so many hard times and I will always be indebted to them <3 They are my heroes :3

Of course, they are innumerable good bands ^__^ But My Chem owns my life. Literally.

Toughhhh. Band - either Hootie and the Blow Fish, Marilyn Manson, I like The Used too, Alien Ant Farm, Puddle Of Mud, Powderfinger, Cranberries, Pretenders, The Butterfly Effect, Avenged Sevenfold, Rammstein. Lol! I lovedlovedloved Linkin Park until their new album :(, must say I was not happy Jan, when I heard it.

Singer - Bonnie Tyler or maybe even Cher. I like a bit of Cher :D o0o0o Otis Redding, Bob Segar. LOL it could go on forever.

MCR Owns My Life, like you. I've been two every one of there concerts in 14 different states, own many hoodies by them, probably bought every cd by them at least 4 times, written letters to them, etc.

This band is HOTT <3

I forgot to add Kiss and Aerosmith into my list. I don't luv luv luv 'em, but I listen to both bands a lot and generally find their music very good.

I'll leave my hatred of current music to that other thread ;)

Honestly I don't really like bob Dylan or the Rolling Stones very much but agree with about everything else. you missed a few though but I can't remember them all.

But seriously you win this thread. Game over.

But if I were to name the best band of all time excluding my personal opinions and just focusing on the success, populairy, impact, and talent thegruop had...that's tough.

It would probably be the Beatles since they and Elvis are in a tier all their own with hits and record sales. also I think it's pretty safe to say they are pretty freaking talented and had an impact like no other musical group or soloist ever had or probably ever will.

And I will reiterate that you win this thread.

^BTW for those who can't take a joke the "win this thread" deal is just me joking around.
