I, Really don't like classic rock... :(
Can't we all stop ninjaing each other?

because my family judges me for listening to country. like "mija you're mexican, you should be listening to this, NOT this."

I love a band called Beirut. It's too underground, you've probably never heard of it. (And it's better to keep it that way)

Spoiler:

Anyway, I love rock music. Classic rock, alternative rock, folk rock, etc. I'm also very fond of indie music. (Beirut being a great example). I also like a lot folk music, some pop, very little rap and instrumental music.

I listen to music from all periods: 60s, 70s, 80s, 90s and actual music.

I also listen to music in Spanish, Portuguese and French.

I do dislike metal, though. (And reggeaton, but most of you won't and shouldn't know what that is.)

B-But, Metal is so great! The loud, Guitar riffs, the, screaming... Okay I get why you may dislike it. But still, it's great music.

Ahahahahahaha I do (@ reggaeton). I hear it A LOT in my town. It's widely the most preferred genre.

Well, yes, it is a very popular party genre in the latino community xD. Also, why Ramón Ayala?!?!? With so many good mariachi and norteño artists and songs, why Ramón Ayala?

Isn't that stereotypical? Gosh I don't get people in life smh

Hmm, it is stereotypical, lol. But that doesn't mean some aren't great xD.

A-men, brother! Amen to that. I listen to so much metal it's crazy. Right now I'm obsessing about Sepultura and Soulfly, what with them releasing two new albums last year:

All this is reminding me, I need to update my list of metal recommendations. I still have the list saved in my notebook section, in case anyone wants it.

Has this become a metal thread? Sweet. Well I do enjoy some metal bands/song, but it's not the main genre I listen to. But still I can enjoy metal to an extent. Demon Hunter are pretty excellent imo, I've imported a few of their CDs to my computer but never listened to much of their songs. August Burns Red will always be one of my favorite metalcore bands. They just sound different than others to me.

But usually I listen to lots of rock, to be particular, alternative rock and indie rock/indie pop , but also hard rock and pop-punk and punk. I also really like lots of electronic/synthpop such as Deadmau5, Daft Punk, Passion Pit, CHVRCHES , etc. And as some people might know Owl City (aka Adam Young) is one of my favorite groups/artist ever. My music taste is all over the place.

Oh, you guys are throwing me some nice stuff here. Time for some metal classics. Here's Sepultura in their hey-day:
