Best/Favorite Move in the game?

I used to like Surf, it was very handy....until they freakin' nerfed it in 4th gen.

How? From my perspective it's still one of the best Water-type moves you could hope for. Most of the other high-powered (Special) Water-type moves are either less accurate and/or quite situational.

Yes, it's still GOOD, but now it hits your allies, and that can get a little annoying.

Outrage..., when used by my Dragonite, even steel types fall down!!!:)

Two words. Toxic Spikes. I know, they're becoming less and less useful in the competitive battling world, but I still love them. I like Trump Card a lot, too, but it's extremely hard to use. If someone's ever gotten a 1pp Trump Card off (in competitive battling), they win at life. I'm also quite drawn to both Ice Punch and Seed Bomb, but there's absolutely nothing special about them. I honestly can't explain it. Spore is amazing too, it's just too bad nothing all that fast can learn it...

Okay,I have a couple of them....

____________
Close Combat
OverHeat
AuraSphere
Thunder
Earthquake
Flamethrower
Hyper Beam
____________

There you go,thats what moves I think are the strongest.

I am going to have to second Muddy Water; on a Swampert, it is pwnful.

Some other favorites include: Thunder, Surf, Shock Wave, Flamethrower, Blast Burn.

Blast Burn is because it just looks so amazing.

Trick Room. hands down. with it, Rhyperior, Torterra, and other slower pokemon, become the fastest sweepers, and it has the benefit of slowing the opponent down (its especially bad if theyre based off of speed)

Other cool moves:
Power Trick (shuckle) (works great with trick Room)
Sketch (i know, kind of pointless, but imagine if some pokemon other than Smeargle could learn sketch!)
Snatch (it just seems cool to me, pity it doesnt have much use competively.)
and Frenzy Plant because it looks cool.

Flamethrower in all generations apart from generation 3, because I love Blaze Kick, but then it lost its critical bonus and with less accuracy it was pointless.

Oh it's just that on the move description it doesn't say it has any critical boost anymore, and I don't use my Blaziken as much as I used to so I don't really use Blaze Kick.

LEECH SEED is GLORIOUS
Well, maybe not, but I love it anyways.
Have a defensive grass type, use it, sit back and win, because the AI never switches. Especially fun combined with any status moves and RBY Wrap.

I love attacks like Leech Seed, Confuse Ray, Double Team, Toxic, Dragon Dance, Baton Pass, etc.

As far as physical/special attacks go, I enjoy Earthquake and Surf as they are very potent and many Pokemon can learn them.
