I hope she does tell us which software she decides on. o.o; Actually, at one point in time I *did* consider a forum of my own. I even had a name picked out. Nyah?

Hmm... I do have to wonder what forum software she's gonna be using... though I do know what the URL is gonna be. :p

vB is the best. Bottom Line.
- Easy to hack
- Easy to work with in general
- Easy to mod
- Easy to design stuff for it (templates etc.)
 
but vB is very expencive. If I was owning a forum which I kinda want to because I love playing on them LOL, but I would have a phpBB, I love yaBB but PHPbb is fun to play with LOL
 
The more you pay, the better you're gonna get.

Simple as that...
 
But remember, as I've said several times, I don't have any store of cash at my disposal - the reason why I'm forced to piggyback on Jesse for my hosting (and the reason why I keep feeling like I'm taking advantage of him).

You said you didn'y want PSB to have a forum because you already admin 2 and mod here but now you are saying you kinda want to
god you confusing

well back on topic i think the more hacks you can get the better because you could take a really bad dieing forum and revive it by putting a new hack in that people can play around with like a MMORPG hack (i have a forum with one of these it once it was great) and everybodys happy till they complete it then when someones completed it you have been secretly working on installing new levels in to the MMORPG and everbody happy again

And the moral of this post is don't do drugs!
 
Get an illigal vB ;) lol, Ive got caught for that b4 and they contacted me host and terminated my account, it sucked, then I just bought a liscence

Besides, having a license entitles you to all those nifty template mods and hacks? o_o;

That?s the trend to kind of curb piracy?requiring the user to log on with their serial number, which is checked against their database?to access plug-ins and support etc. Trillian does it, I know that.

Little off subject but for Trillian you get get all those plugin's off of P2P clients.
 
Yeah, but it?s the principal. P2P can be unreliable?you don?t know you?re getting the latest updates, uncracked and virus free. This way you get support, easy and fast downloads and so on.
 
You can get just about anything in warez...

Just don't flaunt it and you should be fine.
 
LOL, I think I'll take a look at Simple Machines beta... that's the new one from the team that made YabbSE since they stopped making that. XD It has a built-in karma system.

They work on a modded version of the CGI version of Yabb, right?
