    If you could have any super power ever, what would you pick? (If you say "immortality" or "ALL THE POWERS!", I will glare angrily at your post) If you had super powers, what would your super name be? What would your costume look like? Would you want to join a super team, or work solo?

    I want power over ice. I reeeaallllyyyy want to just freeze people whenever they annoy me. Since I have little creativity when it comes to names, I'd just let the media name me. If I don't like the name, imma gonna freeze some media people. I'd also not create a special costume. I'd probably just wear my regular clothes and a mask. I'd probably work solo, but if I was asked to join a team, I wouldn't say no.
     
    I want teleportation. Easy peasy. I could visit my boyfriend, friends, easily.. and run errands in a FLASH <3
     
    Gosh darnit Kura, you chose the one I was gonna choose. xD

    If I could pick teleportation still, hands down, teleportation. xD

    If not, than maybe control over electronic items. xD I would love that, lol. And either way, I don't think I would design any suit or super name or anything. Mainly because I would try to just use my powers secretly. No super heroing for me. >__:
     
    I want the power of telekinesis. I won't have a cool name or a flashy costume, but I want the ability to get objects that are out of my reach without straining myself too much.
     
    Hmm, a simple power I guess. A power that has the ability to make two or more people's senses as one. If one of the people linked with the Magic feel pain then the others will as well. ^^
     
    I feel like I answered this question not that long ago, but I searched the forum and couldn't find anything so....

    I want telekinesis. I want it so bad. The ability to move things with your mind is just so limitlessly powerful, I honestly can't think of anything better than it. It has so much more potential than any other power I've heard of. I think most people would just see it as a way to be lazy and do things without getting up, but it is so much more than that. It gives you the ability to commit a murder without a murder weapon - or at the very least without you having to physically touch the murder weapon. It gives you the power to create a forcefield around yourself. Depending on the level of power, it could give you the power to greatly strengthen your fighting skills (throwing a punch/kick with a telekinetic force behind it and sending people flying). Or you could even use the power on yourself to levitate or fly.

    In short, the sky is the limit. Telekinesis is a blank canvas power for which the only limit is your imagination. It makes you the ultimate person not to mess with.

    and WOW I watch far too much supernatural fiction :P /nerd.
     
    TELEPATHY. Please let me be able to communicate thoughts to someone all the time, I would love that. Idc if it isn't really a useful superpower, it's still a supernatural concept. Uhh, name, idc, costume, idc, actually just make it a SECRET superpower and it can be used when really needed? lol.

    For those not familiar with British children's TV of the '90s, the above sentence means "I want the power to freeze time!" The central character, Bernard, had an antique stopwatch that, when pressed, froze time for everyone around him! It was the best show ever from the ages of 7 to 7-and-a-half, and then I discovered The Simpsons. So... yeah. Time freeze.
     
    Teleportation. I have more friends out of state/country than I do here, and visiting them would be fierce.
     
    Teleportation would be great, but it's hideously over-done, and it seems everyone would want a power like that (I mean, why wouldn't they?). Pretty high up on my list are Cryokinesis and Intangibility - controlling ice just seems like an awesome idea, and being able to pass through solid objects would be a huge middle finger to doors and everything in general.

    Or the power to temporarily cancel out other people's powers. Why? Trolling purposes.
     
    I would choose the ability to pause and unpause time at will. That way, I can effectively teleport short distances by pausing time, then walking somewhere different and unpausing (an illusion, not actual teleporting obviously). It also means if I've only got five minutes before I have to leave for work (like right now) I can pause time and sleep for a little longer. Same goes for handing assignments in late, taking exams etc.
     
    I want telekinesis, telepathy, and teleportation. Booo. Can't I just be a generic psychic? :(
    /is writing about people with all three of those powers for NaNoWriMo right now...

    Since I can only have one, telekinesis for basically all the reasons Shining Raichu listed. :p Also, I don't have much physical strength, so having powers to take care of that for me would be awesome. (Assuming that my telekinesis would be powerful and not weak like my muscles, anyway.)

    Not much for the whole superhero thing, though. I'd never get around to being one.
     
    You guys stick to your psychic stuff. I want the power to create food out of thin air that tastes like real food and is normally digested, but has calories of... thin air.

    Yeah, give me the uncanny ability to produce money at will. That would pretty much solve all my problems. Being able to create money at any time has always been my dream superpower, every time this poll has come up on PC.

    But yeah, not gonna be doing any superhero-like stuff with my powers... unless getting a beachfront townhouse counts as a superhero activity.
     
    I want powers over reality. If I think I have three heads, poof! Now I do. If I think there's a tsunami in Antarctica, there is one now. If I think you can't read English, now you can't. I wouldn't let myself show any hints of superpowers though, so no superhero/villain name/team/costume.

    That aside, I would probably want power over matter. I could refine matter into anything I want, make it invisible, indivisible, eternal, perfect. I could change the system of the whole universe with just one snap of my fingers. I could easily transform matter into different forms, different states, make news forms, make new states. The possibilities are endless when you have power over matter.
     
    Boom, shapeshifting. I choose this power every time I come across one of these threads because to me it's the best power for me to have. I don't want a power that could accidentally kill someone if I'm not careful, I want a power I could screw around with or use to benefit me greatly in the future. Of course, there's always the chance I'll end up like Mystique in X-Men or something and be a craazzzyy girrrrl, but shapeshifting would still be the best power for me.
     
    I guess telekinesis is a really popular power. I much rather have the power to turn into a shadow and travel on any surface. Another power I would like is to be able is set my body on fire and shoot fire is well just like Fire.
