5th Gen Black and White Anniversary Weekend: Design-a-Cover Contest!

First off, congratulations to the winners and those who placed.

I thought I was going to place, mine was quite good in my proud opinion xD I hope Kip didn't win just because he added a back-cover as well, that was not specified, but kudos to him for his hard work. I also like the name "Luster" for Mew~'s entry, really good.
 
Oh wow. This has really brightened my day, I didn't even expect to place so this is really awesome. Special thanks to the judges, I'm glad they liked it.

I just thought i'd comment on ZachLMedia's entry, I have to admit it's really cool, staying close to the original font n' all.

I can't speak for the other judges (although I'm fairly certain they'd say something similar), but I personally gave Kip a 10/10 because of how good it was, not because of the back. The effort he put into it was obvious, especially from the hand-drawn font for the word Grey. You could even see the connection between the background and the Pokemon - Kyurem came from space, and the background is stars.

Kip won because his was well thought-out and flawlessly designed, pretty much. xD
 
I'd also like to thank you for the competition Forever, and Kaori and Toujors for judging, I know/like all three of you ^^

Wow, glad someone noticed that.. :) indeed I did use the original font :D I cant believe i never noticed this (until after I performed a search on Google for the font), but the font used on the game version names from R/S/E to D/P/Pt is a bold-weighted version of Futura ;) and I had that font on my PC all along too xD

As for the other entrants, congrats to them too! Most of the entries here were indeed excellent. ;)
 
Well, I guess if I was going to enter I should have entered like a week ago X3
I wouldn't have won anyways, I probably would have given up on makin' Monochrome half way through :3

Anyways, I looked through all of the entry's, and there were some very good ones. Congrats to Kip for the win :D
 
Awesome, Kip definitely deserved to win... I'd be happy with his entry as the official cover art. I'm surprised that my joke entry tied for 2nd place, but thank you judges!
