In fact, Johto's the only time I don't love them all.

In Johto I only like Cyndaquil + family, Totodile and Bayleef.

Sceptile, Blaziken, Swampert and their pre-evos are all brilliant

Swampert helped me so much, and my only level 100 is a Swampert, but Blaziken I love too, if only for it's karate chicken-ness.
Sceptile is a no though. It's not a bad poke, just I would say no. Not Sceptile.

Sceptile single-handedly made grass-types 250% more badass, and is primarily responsible for my current affinity for choosing grass-type starters.

Swampert. I'm currently playing through Emerald with her for the first time, and the sucker could probably complete the game without the help of my Linoone and Lombre. So damn strong. :>
