After you beat a pokemon game and have really strong pokemon, do you get bored with it and buy a new game? I do. I finished Diamond a while ago and went and bought myself Pokemon Ranger yesturday. Im curious.....lol

I've contemplated buying Ranger, actually, though I think I'd prefer to get Battonage, when that comes out in the UK. I'm also contemplating purchasing Pokemon Link, because it looks like an interesting little puzzle game, and I'm quite fond of puzzle games, with the exception of Puzzle League, which I believe was for the N64, wasn't it?

Anyway, after I complete a Pokemon game, I usually alternate between games I currently own, as well as other Pokemon games. For example, I tend to play a fair bit of Mystery Dungeon, as well as Emerald, due to my attempting to raise up a team to get myself Ho-oh, from Colosseum.

I'm also an avid RPG fan, so I tend to play games like Final Fantasy, Kingdom Hearts and the Tales of series of games, when I can and want to. At current, though, I've been training up a few Pokemon on my Diamond, as well as participating in a Challenge set my SilverSmeargleSplatter, on my Pearl.

No, not really. After completely Pearl, I usually will go back and play some old Pokémon games until something new is out, like Pokémon Stadium on N64, heh. I suppose in this case, it will be Platinum. And yeah, I do end up becoming bored.

No. I normally buy the games together on the day that they're released, and I normally play them both at the same time, but one always gets further ahead than the other so I get hooked on it, complete the game and never bother to finish the other one, which is what happened with my Firered and Leafgreen and my Diamond and Pearl.

Besides, you can never really 'complete' a Pokémon game so how can you possibly get bored from it?

I used to think pokemon was the only game on GB, and i still live by that mentality. If i get a pokemon game , im going to beat the E4, and usually try to get all the legendaries i can . I usually end up getting an AR after that, and soon after i get bored, i play my psp/ps3. Then a new pokemon game is out so no

With the more recent Pokemon games once I beat it I just let it sit and collect dust. With the old ones I replay them over and over.

^is right, you should fully enjoy the game-my emerald has a time of 792:14!!!

I could never get into the Generation III games, that much... ._.;; I didn't really find much enjoyment in them, to be honest, but saying that, it is the weakest Generation, for me. R/B/Y, G/S/C and D/P have had more play time than any of my Generation III games. Ruby only got as far as about 200 hours, while my Crystal has clocked something like 700-800+ I currently can't find my Blue to compare the play time with that. But Mystery Dungeon has been a recent hit, for me. I've played and completed (albeit, not fully; meaning some Legendaries need to be recruited) Blue Rescue Team, and I'm eagerly awaiting the day that I can purchase the PMD2 games. ^^

That'll probably be when I purchase Pokemon Link, as well. XD

How in the world? There's like 10000 times more things to do in D/P than the previous ones.
You and me never agree XD. Anyways, I dunno, I just like the classic feel of it and i'm not looking for a bunch of extra features, a few is nice, but I can't help loving the older games :3.

I completed my pokemon Gold game. I caught every pokemon, beat every trainer and gym leader, battled my clone, beat Red (a.k.a, Ash), and completed my Pokedex.

Nope...I EV all my un EVed pokemon...and that takes a while
