CoD points don't replace XP points, they just add another layer to them. :P
 
Here's a good site for the pro perk info that we know as of now, and here's a good site for other general information. I know of some other good info links that tell you even more, but they're on forums so I don't think I'm allowed to link them.

I'll be using Ninja constantly so camera spikes and motion sensors won't be an issue for me. I can already see Second Chance being abused though. They're pulling a page from IW and allowing the use of equipment while you're down. I hope that they don't allow the Second Chance users to kill themselves while down, and not give the person who shot them the kill, because that's just flat-out wrong. I was playing MW2 a couple days ago and got into a room with someone with last stand and they'd C4 them self as soon as you downed them. So annoying.

The article says at the bottom that the achievements are fake.
 
I want a better matchmaking system MW2's annoys me.
 
PC version will have dedicated servers... The console version, well hopefully it'll be better than MW2's matchmaking at least.
 
A new trailer came out today, this one is about character and weapon customization, Also shows the emblem editor a little. I think it's a pretty good trailer and you're able to customize a lot more then I thought you would.

Yeah, I'm really surprised at the huge leap when it comes to the customization of everything. That's really the one thing I'm most excited about. I can't wait to try it out.

I think this is a very very dumb idea. I hated it in MW2, and I'm going to hate it in Black Ops. Why should I have to go into game chat to hear a bunch of loud mouth, racist, cussing 15 year olds who think they're pro when they can't even pull a 1.0 and all they do is yell into the mic? Making it "game chat" only doesn't promote making friends, or helping out the team.
It's just an annoying thing to deal with, because I know if I have my mic in I'm going to be arguing with them. Like just now, I was playing Halo Reach and I didn't have my mic plugged in (I never do when playing by myself), so this guy was making fun of my Gamertag, saying I was too poor to have a mic (when really my headset likely cost more then his), just all around running his mouth. And after cleaning the floor with him and his team... he still runs his mouth. Now this goes back to Black Ops... why should I have to put up with game chat to deal with people like this? Yea... there's a quick mute. Well, I hate to go into a room and mute everyone in there. If there was a button to mute all (outside of the party) then I'd be a little more happy. But it still comes back to... why? Or if someone is in the party on another game... why should I have to play a different gametype just to talk to that person? There should be no limits put on something built into XBL... such as party chat. Party chat is there for a reason, if it's getting you killed in the game then you need to change it up a little. When WaW came out we got used to party chat and we changed the way we play to fit that. Now why can't the new more casual players do the same? Sick of getting shot out of your camping spot on Search... well move around a little.

And that's my little rant for today.

New trailer is up. Looks pretty fantastic! The campaign is looking to be the best one any of the CoD games have crafted.

Btw, anyone else who watches the trailer... is that your character holding a 1887 Winchester Model while riding a motorcycle? :D :D
 
I heard that you did not add up killstreaks killstreak when you get to kill with it, which is pretty cool IMO. I am also hoping QuickSwap perk that would be pretty impressive. If they use a pro-perk once again, a professional might be a pick-up weapons faster because it only takes about 3 ½ days to get a gun.

They've already released the full perk list, and what you said aren't any of them.

Well it's three weeks or so until the game comes out, and people have already ripped the full game onto their JTAG Xbox's and I've seen gameplay of it everywhere. Activision is taking it down wherever it's posted, but there's usually a few hours before they do it where you can watch it. People have also figured out unlimited ammo mods, and how to do prestige lobbies when they've only had the game a few days. So things are looking great for launch day. Hacks everywhere.
