Call of Duty: Black Ops

Wow, so it is just like MW2 that is great.

I hope they fix it.

That's so disappointing. The community can really blow at times man. So disappointing. I hope they can get stuff sorted out before the release.
 
Yeah... MS and Treyarch both seem to be on top of things this time as far as modding goes. I was watching a guy stream multiplayer on Black Ops last night, and all of a sudden it kicked him off XBL and all accounts he had on that Xbox were banned. I just hope these guys won't be on once the public release comes.
 
That's good I hate all the hackers.

Don't forget Machinima Respawn being shut down due to releasing Black Ops footage early.
 
I just don't want another MW2 on my hands. If I was an XBL Moderator, or someone who worked for IW I'd have field day on MW2. I would love to get paid for the number of bans I handed out, I'd be so rich just off of MW2. I just don't want that on Black Ops, I want to look at the leaderboards and see my rank and say "that's where I really am in the world". I hope they ban people who mod/hack the game, it takes the fun out of it, and most of the people who hack are bad at the game. Because if they were good they wouldn't have to spend their time hacking the game to get kills, or find ways to level themselves up.

And this is Inside XBox on Black Ops. I watched this last night on XBL (before JD_2020 posted... he was slow this time ;.; ) and I yelled out in joy at 3:20 (and ending around 3:26). OMG if you've played an objective based gametype you know how annoying them icons can get. I've been wanting some way to get rid of them since CoD4, and here it is 3 years later.

YESSSS. I completely agree with you on the objective icons.
 
Its about time the icons were tranparent when your crosshair is over them. I would always remember trying to kill someone from a long distance only to miss or die because of the "Defend A" or "Attack C" icon. Good old annoying days...
 
Apparently there are 15 prestiges in Black Ops, opposed to the regular 10 in other games.

I heard five prestiges, too, a long time ago, but when the lead MP Design Director for Treyarch says that there are 15 prestiges I tend to believe him.

I think I'm going to go ahead and agree with you there, too. It's just a shame, really. I got Modern Warfare 2 in July along with my Xbox and I never got the chance to prestige once. I hope I do in Black Ops.
 
Wow, that is a lot. I am only a 4 in MW2.
 
I'm getting it, probably the day it comes out or within the first week. Although, unlike the majority of people here, I don't have an Xbox 360 or a PS3, so Black Ops should be a huge step for the Wii since Modern Warfare 2 was never released for that console for some reason .__.

Because IW don't believe the Wii is powerful enough or has enough of a shooter demograph. Probably the only thing IW have ever gotten right.

Black Ops is looking sensational, so sensational that I have returned just to discuss it with the old mw2 guys.

What'll keep you from Prestiging after the release of Black Ops? :P Even after the release of Black Ops, I'm sure there will still be loads of people playing MW2. So if you ever wanted to prestige some more, I think it's reasonable to say you'll gain some XP just as easily as can now.

Sorry your right and im wrong. It said an "Extra 5" levels of prestiege not "5 Prestiege Levels". By the way what do you guys think of the new black ops zombies? Recent GKNOVA6 videos show some epic zombies that ACUTALLY looks scary in a way. Like the things that walk on the walls or the crawlers or
 
Apparently you can use Create a Class for zombies now, and you also can gain XP playing zombies.

Yeah all the com pro nubs, quick scope d-bags and oma bwadmen won't like Black Ops and are bound to return to the already inferior looking MW2, so there'll still be a load of trash to shoot up on it hahaha.
