Call of Duty: Black Ops

Apparently you can use Create a Class for zombies now, and you also can gain XP playing zombies.

That's awesome! Any idea if the Create-a-Class will be for a certain gametype of Zombie or just generally used for it? I like the idea, but it sorta seems like it ruins the survival experience.

create a class in zombies I am very iffy about. Yeah it might add strategical advantages, but it'll take away something special too.

Maybe they will have different perks and equipment for create-a-class in zombies. (if they do have it for their zombies mode) Or they might have an option to play it classic or not. (classic being you start off with only a pistol and you must buy you perks and normal being you start off wih the perks setup in your loadout.

I like how there's only one single player campaign trailer that lasts only around 50 seconds. :U

I must say, with this set-up of being completely behind the eyes of anyone intrigues me. No fame, no glory, no nothing. That and the whole 'Above the Law' thing makes me think of the morality of these people. Not having any restrictions and no one being there to punish you makes me wonder how the game is going to use, and/or abuse these topics. But that's just what I think from about 50 seconds of video and 20 seconds of someone talking. :U

Really, we need for videos for single player.

I bet the WII version will be terrible.

Call of Duty has been terrible ever since.. umm.. lately?
I bet this is going to be another rehash, and probably not worth money at all. Well I've satisfied with my BC2.

Also, I heard some requirements has been strange lately, I've seen some crazy reqs. Anything about system requirements anyway?

Single player looks fairly good actually.

Yeah, BC2 with it's overuse of snipers and spawn camping offers a far better experiance than CoD. Black Ops is going to be a whole different kettle of fish to previous call of duties, just check the piles of videos and information / interviews avaliable.

I never really saw too much spawn camping. Maybe it's because of the assaultish nature of my community, but I played the original MW and there was people camping everywhere. Actually I was happy for the sole reason people know what assault means, and even random public teams get together.
And sorry, I just assumed another rehash, since CoD games come out like.. I dunno but fairy often.

I take it you're a PC gamer? It'd explain a lot about why you enjoy bc2 more, as the PC community on it is better than console, whereas CoD is the other way round

Yes I am. Why else would I be asking about the reqs, to rant about "HOW LOVELY THAT I DONT NEED TO WORRY ABOUT REQS WITH A FEW YEARS OLD MACHINE."? (Nothing against console owners, but I saw that a lot of times)

I never really find it easy to aim with anything not called mouse. It's just me probably though.

I'm the same but vice versa, I can't do it without a joypad, i suppose it boils down to what you're used to. Black Ops on PC should still be good, with the return of dedicated servers, far better anti hacking measures and the avaliability to mod outside of the main multiplayer are all steps in the right direction to repairing the damage mw2 done for CoD with the PC gamers.

MW2 was a complete disgrace and made me lost faith in the CoD series.
Also is it only me or Activision is negotiating with pirates?

MW2 was like Terminator 3 or a terrible remake to an old film.

Quite honestly I won't be buying this game, at least not for a while. While I thoroughly enjoyed World at War, I absolutely despised Modern Warfare 2. I traded my copy in months ago and haven't looked back since. I understand that Treyarch is also developing Black Ops, but quite honestly I felt that Modern Warfare 2 was such a camp-fest that it destroyed my confidence in future installments.

Yeah that's fairly understanable, but treyarch are really listening to the fans this time round, and Black Ops is shaping up to be the definitive call of duty title.

I'm still going with a wait and see approach. Hopefully it won't end up like MW2 where in the beginning everyone says it's the best thing since sliced bread and about a month later everyone winds up hating it. I've also traded my copy of MW2 in.
