Can you take spicy and hot food?

No, I have a low tolerance for spicy food. Too bad my uncle has a very high tolerance for it and he likes to add in all the spicy stuff whenever he cooks :/

If I have to eat anything spicy, usually seven or eight glasses of juice will follow in quick succession till my mouth no longer burns.

My tongue has a high resilience, so I can stand it.
However, that doesn't mean that I like it.

O yes. I ate a Habenero pepper whole once (not that I handled it to particularly well...:S). Lol hot food is more of a challenge, then an enjoyment though. If you eat something hot enough, it causes your brain to release endorphins:D Extremely hot food has it's place and time:p

I cant stand hot and spicy foods. Maybe Im just too weak for it. Idk but my eyes will start watering and it takes like 15 mins for the stinging in my mouth to go away.

I like spicy food, but I don't venture much further than Jalapenoes on the hot scale. If it's too hot, I can't enjoy the flavor of it. I also take any excuse I get to use horseradish, whether via cocktail sauce, steak, bloody marys, or anything within reason. Same for Tabasco sauce.

Omg, recent story about Tabasco sauce encounter:

I was eating at one of my fav seafood restaraunts, Dodey's. I was absolutely STARVING, so I broke open one of the packages of crackers and grabbed the Tabasco sauce, as usual, not realizing it was the Habanero brand. I had poured a ton on the cracker (it was like dripping off, lol) ate it, and I just about died with the hotness. Lesson learned, always read the label.

I also enjoy that Asian mustard sauce, though I'm not sure what it's called.....it's very similar to horseradish.
wisabi... and.... i....... LOVE IT!!!! I love anything and everything spicy wisabi therw me for a loop bcause it's not sevedhot and most spicy foods are.

Yes I love spicy things, but only to a degree. Like in peppers there's a certain acceptable intensity of heat, usually exceeded by habaneros and certain poblanos. After that it's nearly impossible to actually eat the thing, and plus it makes your stomach ache. :(

Of course, if your tastebuds are completely dead it's a different story.

I can take quite a bit of spicy food, sure. I like spicy food, which is why I put red pepper flakes on pretty much anything appropriate. I'm not very good at it handling the spicier things; I recently felt really really miserable eating hot wings, although they were on the hot end of the scale.

I like spicy food around medium: it has a good kick, and I can still actually enjoy my food.

I adore spicy foods, and that's not necessarily a good thing. Spicy foods mess up my stomach, but I can't get enough of them. ;____; I can eat jalapeno peppers alone. I find everything spicy so delicious. ;[

I get extra pepperoni on my pizza, and I use mini bags of crushed red pepper, AND I squeeze all the juice out of jalapeno peppers to put on it as well. I put too much pepper on my sandwiches, I put every spicy seasoning I have in my chicken noodle and vegetable soup... no wonder I'm such an unhealthy person. XD;;

I just love spicy foods. What can I do? ;__;
Same. :(
If there is a limit for spiciness for me, I've never tasted it. Dx
My dad also says my mom and I can tolerate really hot foods thermally. :3
I love spicy and hot food. <333
But capsaicin is only fun in your mouth, not in your eyes, trust me.
;__;

I love spicey food! :D
Although it messes up my stomach at times...

They aint nothing wrong with destroying a toilet (or two?:S) after indulging in fine spicy food:p Omg just don't ever mix bananas and peppers, no one will be able to withstand being within 50 feet of you:D

I wish I could..

I like the flavor of a lot of spicy food, but whenever I eat something that's even a little spicy, my stomach is all "O HECK NAW D< " after only 3 bites, or so. :/ It makes me sick to my stomach for whatever reason, and it hate it. xD

Yes I can! I love hot and spicy foods.

I can't eat it at all. My nose starts to run and my mouth is on fire. It really sucks since 90% of the food in Korea is spicy.

Even though I can't eat too much without having my nose run, I like spicy food. Unfortunately I don't get to eat it that often. Spicy chicken and steak are awesome. I hate artificial spiciness like on Cheetos and whole peppers, but I'm getting over hating jalapeños.

I'm trying to make myself get used to spicy food, I'm starting to like it more now but sometimes it hurts T_T

Spicy foods are YUMMY! I've always had a fondness for them, since I was about, 5 :3 I don't always eat spicy foods all that often, though, soo some stuff can be a bit hot for me at times (like cayan pepper. word of advice--be carefull how much you use of this stuff..lol it CAN be quite tasty, though :P). But still delishious and handlable. Once I ate raw chillie peppers! On their own, they can be a bit bland. But they still tasted good (made me thrusty as heck, though..lol).

Nowdays, though, most likely, when it come's to spicy, i'll go for the classic Medium Salsa and Tortilla chips XD It's good enouth for me! And doesn't make me too thursty, either, lol

But this topic also just made me crave for a green onion :O (I like to eat those sometimes, too. again, their pretty tasty ;3 yep, i like my spicy foods XD)

Hot food, as in right off the stove? Not quite; I'm worst off with liquids, which are blasted infernos on my tongue.

Spicy food? I wish I could eat that hot sauce one of my aunt's boyfriends ate once, but indeed, I like spicy food that isn't an inferno in itself. To this day, I STILL enjoy pouring hot sauce into my Ragu on my pasta, 'cause Ragu is bland to me.
