Yep but i was:
a) not active enough for anyone to care
b) this is what anyone I'm friends with here calls me anyway

Perhaps an alteration to the "AKA" when you hover over a name; making it show their most recent username instead?

And that feature is actually in development, as a replacement to AKA.

Well, this is where PC Users could be unpredictable. Some of them feel that their old names were too 'nooby' and want to hide it forever. Some (like me) want to be known with a new name and get a new start at things. So it's a no-go if you expect others to put it up in their AKAs. I think we need a new 'Previously Known As' postbit for this, since name changes have become so rampant by now.

Yeah.. it does get confusing, and you do lose track of people, but such is the fate of a forum where name changes are allowed. xD;

I know how you feel, but as TF stated you can check the Statistics tab on their profiles if you're having trouble recognizing who they were. Plus, sometimes they mention who their previous name was via stuff like signatures and heck even usertitles.

But in all seriousness, I do believe an extra field is being worked on to allow for a user's previous usernames to be shown somewhere in postbits (I think by hovering over a part in the postbit).. but that's all I heard. Feel free to correct me admins if this is wrong though.
