I need to buy one sometime this year and figure whatever info I can get is of use

Specifically looking for brands that have a long track record of manufacturing reliable ones in coupe/sedan size with AWD/4WD. I don't need anything big, don't need one with fancy toys but AWD/4WD is a must, and really, really do not want have to deal with repairs+maintenence any more than the absolute bare minimum.

Don't get a Mazda, every single one I see is rusty af. I think Honda is pretty good brand, as is Kia.

Wouldn't recommend french cars either (Renault, Peugeot). My brother and sister have them and it's a continuous loop of getting stuff fixed.
My mother has had a couple Suzuki's which seem far more reliable. Other than that idk.

My mon's had a Subaru Legacy for a few years and it does pretty well in the snow and I don't think it's needed any major repairs since she got it.

Oh yeah, so I did finally get a car on Monday, a 2018 Subaru Impreza =)

It's nice that the car hunt is finally over (and I hope it's a long time before I have look into buying one again).

It's funny how every once in a while there is a user asking for advice on cars on this pokémon forum. This is the first time I've seen it be a mod though ;D

If I don't misremember, Subaru Impreza was my absolute favorite car back in the day when I played Colin McRae Rally on the computer. I picked it almost every time. I hope it's still a cool car and that you'll be happy with it, pal!
