I'M DOING SO MANY UGLY LAUGHS...... I put off watching this show for so long because the way people described the show it was pretty cruel and what not. But after watching Catfish (2008) and seeing how Nev (the host) is actually genuinely nice and wanting to help these people (while obviously needing some failures in order to get ratings), I decided to give the show a watch and... it's so funny :(

The premise of the show is that people who feel that the person they're dating online may be fake contact Nev Schulmann and he begins an investigation into the person and eventually brings the two to meet. The likelihood of the person being real and not the eponymous catfish is slim, but regardless of what happens, you can't help but ugly laugh while watching it.

First watched the documentary, then delved into the tv stuff. Love this show.

This show's hillarious. I think I've seen maybe 3 episodes where the person is like, sorta genuine. The Jasmine x Mike one was ridiculous, Artis x Jess was too, and one where the chick was impersonating Lil Bow Wow. Wtf.
