Again, the "gift that keeps on giving" Pokemon is a Pokemon that is given to you in the game by an NPC, however another challenger picks which gift you have to use.

Wait, isn't that the season of giving (1)? An in-game gift Pokemon (starter, trade, fossil), that another challenger chooses for you? The gift that keeps on giving (5) can be any Pokemon as long as it knows one of those giving moves, so I'm okay to use Meowth > Persian with Pay Day, right?

Update #1 on Volt White 2.

• Turned on Challenge Mode, which gives gym leaders six Pokémon.
• Started my Easter journey with Stergif the Tepig, my gift Pokémon.
• Received the Bicycle in the Route 19 gate, then caught Synni the Sunkern on Route 20, my flower Pokémon.
• Defeated Hugh at Floccesy Ranch, then returned to Aspertia City to challenge the gym.
• Cheren was very tough, with Stergif doing well, but really needed Synni's Leech Seed to help with Munchlax.
• Directly after the battle, Stergif evolved into Pignite!
• Picked up the Fishing Rod on my way to Virbank City, then headed to the Virbank Complex.
• Trained in the Complex, where I got a Sun Stone, though I need to wait for Sunkern to reach L28 for Synthesis.
• Took on the gym, and Stergif starred again here with Rollout to take down Roxie and get my second badge.
• Toured Pokéstar Studios and made a couple movies, then defeated a couple of Team Plasma Grunts.
• Hitched a ride to Castelia City and received a Shiny Charm, then went to the Castelia Sewers.
• Defeated the Plasma Grunts there, then caught Basil Stag the Buneary in the Castelia City grass.
• I am saved inside the Castelia Sewers.

FINAL SUMMARY (was out of town most of the day, and stuck in car for 6 hours today...so I had to keep myself occupied)
Basically spent most of the day and evening working on this challenge, after going to eastern WA with dad...so i spent my time playing this glad I paid for the traveling kit with a car charger, and let me keep my 3DS charged up

Defeated the rest of the gym leaders, got my 6th team mate the Lucario from Korrina...did that mega battle thing with Lucario(s)
Got to name Lucario, LilJz (after the poster who assigned it to me), I captured the Yveltal and gave it away to another friend who wanted it, took care of Team Flare

1-got back home, took a break for the evening... then I thought..just try to finish it
2-got through Victory Road and alot of leveling and fainting; spent the last few hours grr-ing at the E4...
3-finally got to Diantha was very worried about her M-Gardy but I held tough, luckily her phsyical D isn't good..lost to her the first time then had to back through again
4-Battled AZ and seen the amazing cut scene

I would have to say though most of these pokes I've never ran with with the exception of Azumarill and Flareon...I really enjoyed this team very much it was fun and a challenge, sadly I don't have a phone to take any pics or anything...just a basic talk and text phone

First update!

Made my way outside and recieved my first Pokemon, Chimchar, from Prof. Rowan. I then made my way to Verity Lake with Barry, and then towards Sandgem Town. I named my Chimchar Victor after meeting Rowan in his lab. I got the Pokedex and the TM for Return, which I will teach to Buneary when I get one. With everything settled, I set off for Jubilife City. I arrived and delivered the Parcel to Barry in the Trainers' School. Before heading for Oreburgh, I went north to catch my nect Pokemon, a Budew. After nicknaming it, I set off to get my first Gym Badge. I took down Roark with ease using my Budew. First badge get!

I went and took my first pokemon of the bunch, a Torchic whom i named "Kenpachi" after the bleach honorary title to the person who kills the most people.I like it.

Yes, that's right. I'm going nuts with all these giving puns is all, lol.

Also, I have my first badge and I'll be trading in Porygon 2 and my egg next time I play...which will be...idk. I'll make a pretty update when I actually have good progress to show. Porygon 2 is shiny. I hope no one cares. It also learns Tri-Attack at 51, so while it's not gonna have it for a long time, it will end up with it. So never fear, my dears.

I beat the first three gyms and progressed up to Ecruteak. Now waiting for nighttime, so I can catch a Meowth and Marill. I also have to wait for the bug catching contest, as I need a sun stone desperately. Sunkern is so weak... Whitney's Miltank was a big problem, but Quilava is just too awesome <3. It didn't hit a thing after some Smokescreens!

I'm gonna guess you mixed up Azumarill and Plusle. Plusle is the gift that keeps on giving and Azumarill is the bunny.
