2nd Gen Champion Lance

[Palamon]

Lance is the Champion in the Johto games. He has 3 Dragonite and some other Pokémon. You first meet him during the Lake of Rage incident, and then helps you out during Team Rocket's hideout shenanigans. In the remakes, you battle alongside him in a double battle against Ariana and a Rocket grunt. You of course, later, face him as Champion, and you then later can battle him with Silver in a team battle against himself and Claire.

What did you think of Lance and his team? Would you like to see him in a future game that isn't in Johto and Kanto?

It's always a treat to see Lance and his Pokemon again. Such a nostalgia trip each time. <3 As the generations have continued, it's nice that he's been able to fill out that Dragon team a little more, haha. I mean, I think Charizard and Gyarados are basically Dragons too but.. :x And I think Aerodactyl was the last one? Lmao not even close, champ.

Lance is an infinitely better champion than Red.

I enjoyed seeing him outside of the Indigo Plateau building, and liked seeing him be more humble than his days of "My dragons are virtually indestructible!" Also seeing him command his Dragonite to Hyper Beam that one Rocket dude in Mahogany Town was epic.

I think he's the champion that varies the most in difficulty. If you go against him without a powerful ice type or ice move, he can be the hardest in the entire series. I was overleveled when I fought him, but I still had trouble without an ice type.

I would like to see him in the newer games. More specifically, I would like to see his reaction to fairy types. Maybe he could turn and become a fairy trainer.
