20 known stages plus an Electroplankton stage. Then we have a specific section for the six Melee stages, and another section for custom stages.

Yep, that's pretty much the roster. Except there's suppose to be 1 more character. It's suppose to be a StarFox Character. Wolf or Krystal.

Seriously wanted Krystal, but I guess I'll have to deal with Wolf.
I thought Sakurai promised there would be no clones! Well, at the very least, each character is just similar to another, but not counted as clones.

Falco, clone of Fox
Wolf (possibly), clone of Fox

Ness & Lucas are very similar
Marth & Ike are similar
Ganondorf & C.Falcon (not that sure), it's possible
Mario & Luigi are similar

Seriously, Sakurai is horrible at picking characters & movesets!

First of all, it kinda started in Melee. Wario & Toad were at the top of Japan's polls, but didn't get in! Instead, Sakurai popped in Dr. Mario!

Japan's polls, of course, were high. I heard that many favored Krystal & Bowser Jr. over Wolf, but Wolf made it into the game, not Krystal or Junior.

Geno, Ridley, Isaac, and many others were favored for Brawl, but why did Sakurai have to make the character roster up to 35? (could have gone to 40)

Why would he take out Mewtwo, who had a unique moveset?
Lucario & Ganondorf did not have to be clones, they have so many other moves, but Sakurai made them clones! (or so I've heard Ganon was a clone)

He then promised no clones, what does he do? A Landmaster Final Smash for Wolf, Toon Link, and Falco, who are all clones!

Why did he put R.O.B?! He didn't even score high on the polls!

Sakurai had like, 2-3 years to make this game! Why did he not make such an improvement to the roster?

Okay, I'm just going to stay away from these clone characters. (not Lucario though!) There are so many parts of the game to try out, we have to look at the positive aspects to the game, not just look at the negative aspects.

I was a little upset at the final roster, heh.

was hoping for Ridley, Krystal, Mega-and/or-Bomberman, and Banjo-Kazooie. Though I had written the last one off ages ago, I figured there was still a chance.

Apparently Banjo does appear in the game though, XD. Saw a clip of the copyright data, and apparently there is a screen shot of Diddy Kong Racing. XDD

It may not be as flashy as Mario, but it is damn well effective. Stunning people, slowing them down to a crawl, all while racking in damage.

He could have chosen Bowser Junior or K.Rool or something...no...its ROB...

EDIT: Luigi's final smash looks awesome! It would be great on a small stage like Battlefeild...but in the Temple it is pretty much useless
I thought it would be something like that final boss from Super Paper Mario (I forgot its name)

Lucario is NOT a clone. The only, ONLY thing that is similar is their b move, which is aura sphere and shodow ball. Basically aura works in the same way that shadow ball did only that Aura is much cooler and seems to be more effective. Everything else is different, and I am sick and tired of seeing people post "OMG lucario's a clone!!!" just becuz they take one glance at Aura Sphere. It's his signature move for crying out loud duh its going to be in and its going to be similar to shadow ball!!!!!

Some idiot said that Lucario had the same up b move as mewtwo, hmmmm I don't remember Lucario teleporting like Mewtwo, oh wait that's right, he didn't. It's more like extremespeed from what I've seen.
