I found that if you get the Acro Bike and go up to Mt.Pyre on the right & into the grass & stay in one spot & hop, then Chimecho should appear much quicker!
I don't think that doing bike tricks attracts pokemon...I think you might have just gotten lucky with encountering Chimecho like most of us here have :p
yeah,i read somewhere that it was #386 and i got the idea that it was the new mew (silly me) and when i caught it i was really happy!Yeah, yeah i`m an idiot......
It stands to reason that it would be pronounced "chime-cho" since Chimecho is based on some type of Japanese wind chime or something...it's even the Wind Chime Pokemon...following its looks and description, I don't see why it wouldn't be pronounced "Chime-cho" .

NOTE:i used an ar to get more than 1 master ball.
  :shocked:i just walked into the grass to train my regi's on m.pyre and the first pkmn i ran into was chimecho, i know that aint a big deal but since its so rare im pretty lucky*i wish someone believes me*
(i would say something but i dont know if that'll get me 'booted out' :nervous: )(<-ive been careful ever since a little mishap i had in the "silver" section if u know wat im talking about )
