Choose - Your own adventure! [Hoenn]

Uh Steven, could I borrow that Metagross?
Time to turn on the old charm.
"Hey Steven, you know how I idolise you, right?"
"Yup."
"You know that you're really, really awesome, right?"
"Yup."
"You think maybe I'd be able to borrow that Metagross for a second?"
"Nope." Dammit, he's good. Looks like you're actually gonna have to send out a Pokemon.

Screw you Steven! Your behind is mine when I challenge the Elite Four.

Tentacool.

It needs some love :3.

Gonna have to say Marshstomp. Tailow has type advantages but is too frail, and Tentacool is underleveled.

So Marshstomp.

Well I think Tentacool is a great idea, it hasn't seen any action yet.
Oh and Steven, if I had a knife I would stab you.

Marshtomp!
You send out your ever-trusty Marshtomp to take on Makuhita. But before Marshtomp can make a move, Makuhita jumps in close and slaps Marshtomp backwards with its gloved palm, Marshtomp seems to be too stunned to make a move.
"That's Fake Out, little bro. It always hits first when Makuhita enters the battle and causes the opponent to flinch, preventing them from moving for a little while. Next Arm Thrust!" Makuhita runs in close and pounds Marshtomp. Then again and again, then gets blasted back by a Water Gun - Makuhita leaves himself unguarded in between Arm Thrusts. Although it then pummels Marshtomp with a Vital Throw. -_-. What do you want to do?

Mud Shot. It lowers accuracy which should stop it from dealing a finishing blow anytime soon.

Mud Shot!
Marshtomp fires a brown stream at Makuhita, who smiles and leaps over it before running towards Marshtomp with a Vital Throw. Marshtomp takes in the chest and it reels backwards. Makuhita follows it up with an Arm Thrust, Marshtomp taking too much damage to hit back this time and goes tumbling to the ground at your feet.
"Now M-dude, use Bulk Up while he's done!" While Marshtomp gets up, Makuhita glows, raising its attack and defence. Marshtomp gets up, but immediately falls to its knees again. You give it two Potions and it shakily gets up, while Makuhita uses another Bulk Up, ready to deliver another brutal assault. Makuhita has also taken damage though, and a good solid hit should finish Makuhita. The two Pokemon get into fighting stances and face off once more. You have to chose wisely - a wrong move would probably cost you the battle. Makuhita raises its arms, meaning it's probably about to use either Bulk Up or Arm Thrust. One would seal your defeat, the other would give you the opening you need to win the battle. What do you want to do?

Your Options
-Mud Shot again!
-Water Gun!
-Mud-Slap em when he gets close!
-Bide!
-Cry?

lol! CRY!!!

Nah, I'm saying Bide because that seems to be Marshtomp's best bet.

-----DARK PULSE'S TIPS ON CHOOSING-----

...but, People, don't forget that Mud Shot will be unnafected by Bulk up, but Makuhita dodged the last one...

also, Mud-slap appears to have tactical Value (due to the fact of Diablerie saying "when he gets close") so that might be an option...

Crying gets you knowhere, so that is a bust, as I think all it will do is give Makuhita time for another Bulk up

Finally, Bide was my choice, as Marshtomp was fully healed...

Give it a Mud shot
if you bide and it uses Arm thrust you might take just a bit to much damage and knock yourself out, or it may use Bulk up which makes your bide useless

hmm...Mud Slap when it gets close.

that seems to be the best way for you to defeat Makuhita IMHO.

Mud Slap.

I hate Bide, period.
