Hm, I'd say A. If it's halfway destroyed, then maybe you can use the rubble to hurt the zombies to conserve ammo.
 
Hmm.... both have tactical advantages that are also disadvantages. If you still have your pipe with you, then I'd definitely recommend the streets, though, just because, as TSO said: easier to break lose in case a horde approaches. Plus, it'd allow you to actually see the zombies coming. Generally. So, I'll say B.



(Just a quick question, but these are REAL zombies, right? Like, reanimated, rotting corpses that will consume you and turn your remains into one of their own, assuming you can't outrun their slow movements due to their loss of motor function? Not the mutant zombies of, say, Resident Evil or L4D? Just curious to know what kinda zombies you're talking about here. =3)

As for the zombie question, It's a mix of both~
 
B, proceed with caution (& hope none of the zombies are wandering the streets).
 
"Let's stick to the streets." you say. You quietly run down the streets, trying to not attract the zombies attention. You keep your eyes fixed on the nearest zombie, but in doing this you accidentally run into a car, setting off the alarm. "Shoot and run! Shoot and run!" Erika yelled as a mass of zombies ran out from the corner behind us. you both hear a loud growl behind you and then heavy footsteps. "OH GOD!! RUN FASTER!!! TAAAANK!" The mall was starting to come in sight when a gigantic creature flipped a car over our heads. "We're almost there! We gonna make it!" Erika shouted. We made it just in time into the mall as the Tank ran into the wall with a loud THUD. "We made it..." Erika said, gasping for air, "What do *gasp* we do now?*

A. Explore the mall
B. Rest a couple minutes and catch your breath
 
A because:

Tank = Hulk = dead wall = dead you. While exploring the mall, you can take your time, take it slow, and recover that way.
 
A! Let's explore the mall.
We'll do an 80's montage of having fun at the mall...and then find our next escape route from the zombies.
 
You explore the mall with Erika, still panting from lack of breath. As you turn a corner, you see a figure walk out of sight. "Wait! That was him!" said Erika. She yells, "Chris!" and then she runs off and darts into a store. A minute later you hear her piercing scream and you run to her aid. As you approach the store, you see a zombie who you assume used to be Erika's little brother, Chris, and Erika on the floor, a piece missing from her arm. You easily dispatch Chris with a bolt from your crossbow. "Help me...I've been bitten..." Erika pleads. You debate whether to save her, since she saved your life earlier.

A. Attempt to save her
B. Leave her
C. Kill her

You could just cut off the affected arm. Srsly. It'd stop the spread. And if it doesn't work, you can always just kill her before she completely turns.

Maybe she can control herself and not kill us.

We probably won't ever see her again anyways.
 
You grab her and carry her on your back. "Where's the nearest hospital?" you ask. "It's just down the road. Please hurry. It hurts so much!" answers Erika. You quickly find an exit, hoping the Tank is gone. To your relief it is. You race to the tall building that you assume is the hospital. Erika screams in pain, attracting the attention of several zombies. As you approach the entrance of the hospital, a long tongue grabs hold of Erika and drags her off. "Run! Save yourself!" she yells as she is dragged into a building. You take her advice and run into the hospital. A voice announces on the intercom system, "Hello? Is *BZZT* anyone there? I'm on the*BZZT* 5th floor and I *BZZT* need help!" You decide to go help this voice, hoping it's a real person and not a recording. You then realize you have two options on how to get to the 5th floor.

A.Take the stairs
B. Take the elevator
