3rd Gen chose red but found Latios

Well I just finished the pokemon league(Emerald) and my mom asks me what color the pokemon was on the TV.


I chose red because I wanted a latias...right after I went and bought max repels and but a lvl 29 phanphy as my starter and went to mauville.

I was planning on using it in the grass and trying to find Latias..and I was thinking it would take a few hours to find it...

I went to the right and I used surf to pass that small river to get to route 118.

Literally the last step before I could touch the land on route 118..like right before i get off my pokemon..I enter a battle and Latios comes out...it literally took me 3 minutes to find him and I was like WTF?

I caught him with the Master ball and now im wondering if I could still catch Latias because I am positive I chose red..

idk if anyone else has heard of this glitch..but thx in advance

If you havent chose blue by accident then there is one possible thing I can think of.

Have you used an Ar or Gameshark?

I have not used an AR or gameshark at all...but im not using the regular bought game I have.

I have the rom on my iphone and I am playing it from there...thats the only wierd thing about how im playing it...

its just wierd to me how i caught it SO quickly..and that it was a Latios in the water

Its normal to see it in the water, I havent seen one on land.

Could quite possibly be that the ROM was edited.

I'd check that same area again and see if Latios is in the wild logs around there. If it is your rom has been edited by the host.

It concludes that the ROM is hacked. Or did you use cheats?

I think you may have accidentally chosen blue.

Check the area again because if you find Latios again then your rom has been edited or something. If not, then you accidentally chose blue.

I reckon it's a ROM that's been hacked (I'm not the first). But, hey, I wouldn't be complaining if you found it that quickly!

Finding it so quickly isn't really that big a deal.
I found my latios in a mere 5 by using repels and going in and out of the bike trail house thing.​

i picked red on mine too.. and i got latios. except i wanted one. so i dont think its a glitch, hack or whatever. you get the opposite one.

well u can still get latias if u mixed ur Record with Ruby/Sapphire . but in iphone? i dont think so...

You either accidentedly chose blue or ur rom was edited a bit...one or the other...
