Given that the whole region is of course based on Hawaii, I wonder what kind of city design they'll be going for. For example, I can see the return of a Fortree-style jungle city, which has me excited since that's my favorite city in Hoenn. Any thoughts?

A volcanic island would be pretty cool.

We've had it before with Sootopolis City which was the crater for an underwater volcano, this time there could be an active volcano with a city at the base of it. Considering the volcanic hotspot in Hawaii has a couple of active volcanoes (Kilauea and Mauna Loa), one of these could be an island that we get to visit which would be perfect for a Fire-type Gym.

Like a Gen 7 Cinnabar Island that looks more like how Cinnabar looked in the anime.

I would like to see a tribal-themed village that is removed from modern technology. They could worship the "Sun & Moon." The gym leader would be the Chief of the village and could use either Ghost, Dark, Fairy, or even Fire type pokemon. It would also be the perfect area to introduce this Gen's fossil pokemon.

This might sound a little strange but I'd love to see a city situated in a cave, or underground in some way. (Not like Sootopolis where it's in a crater but actually deep underground) They could use modern technology to create artificial gardens and sunlight.

I'm not sure if a Hawaii based region would be where we'd see a city like this though.

I'd also like to see something like a town or city situated at the site of an old ruins. (maybe they moved there recently so there's still a lot of debris) Or maybe it would be like an archaeologists town.

Also I feel like a town made up entirely of caravans could be interesting, sort of like a travelling town almost. Maybe they could have a circus or something too? (We already have Popplio :P)

I like anything really. I don't have a preference. Maybe something pokemon themed. Like how the slowpoke well was themed on a a slowpoke. You know. Something like that.... I like the volcano. Maybe they're looking towards Hawaii... I'd like anything. Maybe even New Jersey. :) I don't care. As long as I like the Pokemon. That should be good. You know? :) Bye.

I know it may be boring but I wouldn't mind another city like Pacifidlog Town or Humilau City, in that it sits on water. The idea of a city on a very hot part of the island could allow for special buildings that are used to cool down the residents.

Its actually not that weird to consider a high-tech underground city in Alola. I mean there's geo-thermal technology and the hot steaming lava and magma energy from those volcanoes.

I'd actually want to see a real underground city in a Pokemon game where we get to see how the people are living their lives below the surface and depending on that geothermal technology for their sources of living.

I'd love a grassy, mountainous town at some point in the game! Think Floaroma Town mixed with the overgrowth in Agate Village from XD. Cliffs, grass, and vines everywhere, with multiple levels to travel on up and down the town. I'd say it'd be fitting for a Grass/Flying/Ground type Gym Leader as well. I just love Agate Village, lmao. GF certainly have the means of creating a location to a standard of how it was portrayed on the GameCube, I'd say.

I would love to see another town like Humilau City, which to be honest, was almost completely out of place in Unova. I would also love to see a village on the side of the beach, right on the side of the ocean.

Another thing would be a hilly village or town that used the Easter Island Heads as buildings for something along those lines.

I'd like to see one of those futuristic cities that sometimes get talked about as things we might soon see, like floating cities. Not in the sky, but on the ocean:

Or those big futuristic towers, the ones that are self-contained mini cities.

How about a nature preserve island where all the pokemon are pink

I wouldn't mind seeing like a small fishing village, that might be nice to explore. Also we could catch like all the magikarp and raise a Gyarados army >:)

I'd really like to see a city that is completely under water, in a big glass bubble or something. I think that'd be super cool. Imagine being able to see wild Pokémon swimming outside as you travel through the city, like the Marine Tunnel in Unova. :)
Yea I would like something similar to this, except I want to have to explore an underwater volcano or reef (like the Marine Tunnel as well!) Just imagine seeing like molten underwater lava or geyser-like hot water rushing up from the underwater volcano or an underwater beautiful coral reef route/area

I think Unova was supposed to while based of New York, but repping the U.S in general. Would've made more sense to make it in the lower half of Unova though.

I'd actually love that, complete with statues based on Nosepass and Probopass. Makes sense considering those Pokemon were based on the Easter Island statues, and having Pokemon-shaped buildings also would remind me of Mystery Dungeon in a way.

I want a city like this too and instead of a Pokémon Center, they have a Witch Doctor.

I would like to see a city where they live under a strict religious law. Where Pokémon Centers are deemed "unnatural" and "Playing God" (like Botan City in Pokémon Brown) and all men and women have to dress and look a certain way, a bit like the Amish and there's a place of worship in the city too. They don't even need to mention religion... They could say this, "We live under Arceus and His word, we believe Pokémon Centers are unnatural".
