Ok, so i've never had this happen on Diamond.Only on Platinum.

I went to EV train my Manaphy on the Route between Pastoria and Hotel Grand Lake, and it was raining!!

I've never had this before, but it was so cool!!

Just wondering, is there anywhere else where the weather changes?
I.e. on the routes that are normally raining, does it ever clear up?
And do you get it raining on other routes that it doesn't normally?

Also, on the route that kills your vision coz of the blizzard, do you ever get it clearing up, like an acetrainer there says it does?

yeah, I had that rain yesterday. I think any weather conditions are annoying (except for the rain and sun that Drizzle and Drought creates - i'm basically asking for it if I use Groudon or Kyogre) because you get that stupid animation between every god damn turn in a battle.

It's especially annoying if you're battling someone who likes to spam Double Team/Minimize/Protect/Detect.

Hmm...i reckon most routes without rain look good in rain, and ones with rain look good without it

Never payed attention to this. I thought that it rained only where it has to rain.

By the way it wouldn't be bad if the game creators would think of something like a wi-fi weather change. There are dayly/weekly events, why not make seasonal events, like a snowy weather in winter months. It shouldn't snow all thr time though, because I agree that it's a bit disturbing to see that animation every turn..

My tryantar made a sand storm at the hotel place ... ^_^

some girl said i luv the weather today

NINTENDO should really think of all the scenraios of the game really

That happened to me today, I don't know what caused it. Could be a special event or something...

I doubt it could be because of a special event as it happens to me almost everyday when I'm near the Trophy Garden. Though I do find it pretty amazing because without some climate effects in the game, plain sun would just be dreary.

There is also the snowstorm effect when heading towards Snowpoint City that I find interest in. Usually in the older games it doesn't have a single spot of snow when coming up to challenge the Ice-type Gym Leader, but Snowpoint City has finally brought delightful snow.

I thougth they would when Platium came out, and I saw the snow.

    But well... Generation five, maybe?

I like how the weather changes sometimes. Have you noticed how there is a weather broadcast at the TV:s? Maybe you can get a heads-up by those. But they mostly just talk about "ooh, it' snowy around Snowpoint, I'll cuddle inside with my Clefairy..."

I mean, wow, it snows in Snowpoint? REALLY? O.O

    Nah, idk.

There are certain days of the year when different weather conditions happen in different places. The routes that usually rain, for example, will occasionally clear up. A cooler example is on January 12th, when diamond dust will come down in Snowpoint City instead of snow in honor of Junichi Masuda's birthday.

Here's Bulbapedia's article about weather conditions in the field:

Strange, it's raining there too for me. It still is.

The alternate weather conditions occur strictly according to the calendar; i.e. if it's raining for one person on a route, it's also raining for everybody else with their DS set to the same date.
There was a Japanese website that had a list of the dates, but I can't remember what it was. If I find it, I'll post it here :)

Maybe it's always sunny in phil... I mean my sinnoh?
Ha ha, I got your reference~

Hm, I always check the television in case something is happening. Nothing like this has ever happened to me.

The only time I see a weather condition is in Snowpoint City and the routes leading up to it. Oh, and the route between Hearthrome and Pastoria.

There's always rain between Moomoo Milk Cafe and Veilstone.

And Wichu, if you find that article, please tell me.

all i know is when i hav manaphy its rains at the hotel beach lake place :S

Yeah,I wondered if it was a Manaphy side-effect, but i don't think it can be
