Great, I've started Pearl. I managed to get Earthburst to learn Magnitude before challenging Roark, so he was quite easy in the end.

Also Gardenia was easier than I expected her to be. In Seabubble's challenge, She was already difficult with 2x disadvantage. Now I have 4x, and still beat her quite easily. I guess that was because Earthburst was really overleveled or something...

I defeated the Fighting gym with the kid leader I don't know the name of, and am now in the Water Gym... but have to sleep. I probably will be finishing that one tomorrow.

Update #3: Infernape - Black
Postgame didn't take too long. I did notice I had some trouble OHKO'ing a lot of Pokémon, especially since Infernape was at a pretty high level and should've been able to do that. Well, I guess I''ve just been a little spoiled by the other games, as this is the first time I completed any sort of challenge on Black and White.

Update #1: Poliwrath - Leaf Green
The first gym was a piece of cake. The second wasn't too difficult either and by the third one I was overleveled so no problems for that one or the fourth. Poliwrath is a relatively nice Pokémon and as I never used it before, I quite like it now.

That's perfectly fine. Also you can use A-Starter, it's a gba editing program to change the starters for any of the gen 3 games.

EDIT: Finished Johto for my Ampharos run. :) Sadly I forgot to take a screenshot of defeating the Elite Four Karen but besides that I have a screenshot for every other important battle.

If you can't decide on a Pokemon you can always use a random pokemon generator, you shouldn't have a problem finding it on google. Just make sure to set the region to kanto. Hope that helps :)

I love Pokémon X, obviously that's the reason why I am not playing my Solos that much anymore. The thing is, I do want to keep all my progress in X. Maybe I'm going to buy Y someday to do all kinds of side things, but for now those challenges will lay still after Generation 5.

Still, I love doing solo challenges. I certainly won't quit this thread until Earthburst has defeated the Sinnoh and Unova Leagues, and maybe I will start other solos after that too!
