Combined Pokemon Solo Challenge Thread

I want to try a challenge =) This will be my first one.
Game: Emerald (will be using an emulator)

Can I run through with Latias? I know she's technically a legendary but I won't be using soul dew, and she's the first one that came to mind. My other choices are Bagon and torchic

Can somebody explain how this works, I'm aware of the rules and I know how a Solo-Challenge works, but because it's a combined does that mean I play through more than 1 game or what?

You can choose any game or games you want to play. an Ultimate is when you go through all 4 (or 5) generations with the same pokemon.

Typhlosion Update #1:

Started off by picking up my Cyndaquil and training it before battling Falkner. It eveolved while fighting in Sprout Tower.

We continued along until we reached Bugsy and his gym

Next up was Whitney. I was worried about her Miltank and its Rollout, but Quilava proved to be a fierce competitor and managed to take it down.
Whitney:

Morty proved to be very easy to beat as well, Quilava was not hit once in the entire gym.
Morty:

It evolved into a Typhlosion right after the battle with Morty and with Typhlosion's new found power Chuck and Jasmine went down easily.

-Did the boring beginning stuff.
-Made myself a boy and called myself Zero.
-Did the start of the game, changed the clock(not really), saved Birch and got my solo runner, Treecko, named Sasuke.
-Destroyed May, had two Potions at the ready just in case.
-Did the trainers on Route 102(except one of them).
-Helped Wally catch his Ralts.
-I'm outside of the Petalburg City Pokemon Center.

Okay, so I got to the elite four, defeated them all but then got defeated by Lance (with Static being on level 66)..

I'm sorry but I don't have the energy to keep this pikachu ultimate solorun going.. it's just too frustrating :( so I think I'll just drop out.. can you just list me as a champion for the R/B/Y Solorun with Pikachu? :P Thanks.

Hiiragi, we're using the same solo runner lol. Anyway, another quick update:

-Destroyed the trainers in Petalburg Forest.
-Owned the trainers on the route before Rustboro.
-Beat the trainers in the gym.
-Destroyed Roxanne(Nosepass was being a bl**dy pain!)
-Sasuke evolved!
-Did the event with the Magma Grunt in Rusturf Tunnel, saved Peeko and saved in the cave.

Well, I completed my Primeape solo run of Crystal a week or so ago and never got around to posting it up so I may as well do that now. I don't feel up to typing so i'll just post gym leader defeats.

Update 3: Post-E4 through Red
(I forgot when I chose to beat Jasmine, and forgot to screenshot it.)
-Arrived at Vermilion(sp?) and beat Lt. Surge

-Went to Saffron and beat Sabrina (only screenshotted stats)

-Went to Celadon and beat Erika

-Did lame sidequests to get Misty back to her gym, then beat her

-Traveled to Pewter and beat Brock

-Traveled to Cinnabar then Seafoam Islands and beat Blaine (only screenshotted stats)

-Traveled back to Viridian and beat Blue (I know it's really you, Gary. You aren't even wearing a fake moustache.)

-Traveled the short path up Mt. Silver and beat Red (first try too)
The other 5 pokemon were my HM slaves, btw. I think one was the Entei I caught and forgot to deposit in the PC, too.

Woot.
Primeape's final moveset was:
Karate Chop, Thrash, Cross Chop, Thunderpunch.

Emerald is up next, but i'm not starting it yet.
I actually already did an Emerald Primeape solo run but didn't enter it in the challenge so I don't feel like it counts. I'm just going to do it over again.

Before starting, I used Advance Map to edit route 102 and replace Wurmple with Latias. I also edited one of the flowers in Littleroot to hold a masterball so I could actually catch her.


Update 1: Littleroot-route 104-Petalburg city

My day started off great. My mother stuffed me in the back of a moving truck and forced me to ride in it to our new town of Littleroot. What the hell, mother. I'm sorry that your precious stuffed animals can't ride in the moving truck, but I'm your daughter. Can't you clear out the front seat and let me in the car?

So when the truck finally stopped and the stuffy air was let out, my mother ambushed me with some mumbo jumbo about how great the new town was, dragging me into the house and making me go set my clock. She then ran back upstairs and told me that it was so nice of the pokemon movers to set up our new house! Hardly. They somehow mixed up my bedsheets with my mothers and now I have purple and white instead of green.

I grabbed a potion out of my computer and went back downstairs, to be ambushed by my mother once again to run to the TV. Sorry, mom, we missed the news report for dad. Then she told me to go say hi to the nieghbors. I hate saying hi, but anything to get away from you, crazy lady.

I went back outside and tried to run out of town, but was stopped by someone who said I needed a pokemon. Great. Looks like I need to go say hi afterall.

I went next door and met my neighbor Brendan. He seemed pretty cool. I hope he doesn't start hitting on me. Anyway, he basically said hi and then bailed, leaving me to try to leave town again. This time, the guy that stopped me told me that I should go save the person who was screaming like a banshee up ahead. Sure, NOW you're singing a different tune.

To make a really long story short, the guy told me to grab a pokeball, I did, I threw it, A little orange fluffball named Torchic came out. I knocked out the Zigazoon. The professor thanked me, gave me the pokemon, and told me to go find Brendan. Seems like he's too scared to go out alone anymore. I named the Torchic he gave me Slave. I went north through Oldale town and found Brendan on route 103, scribbling on a clipboard. I said hi, he challenged me to a battle. Slave beat his Mudkip, but I can tell that little tadpole will grow to be a problem for my Slave. We went back to his dad's lab and he gave us pokeballs, requesting that we go fill a pokedex. (I'm telling you, he's terrified of going outside).

Freedom! I bolted for route 102 but was stopped by my mother. Oh, god not again. Good fortune seemes to be on my side, because she just gave me a new pair of shoes and wished me luck on my journey. Yeah, that's what you get for stuffing me in a moving truck, mother dear. On my way out, I saw something reflect in the grass and went over. I picked up the item, which looked like a pokeball with an M on it- score, Masterball! I put it in my bag.

When I went out on Route 102, the first pokemon I encountered was a red flying pokemon. It was named Latias. I immediatley threw the Master ball I had found at it, securing my partner. Luckily, I had found a partner I liked on my second try. Unluckily, it only know Psywave. A little miffed at the crappy movepool, I went west and battled a couple trainers, and upon leveling up Pheobe learned Wish. Okay, not offensive, but now she could heal herself. I could handle that. I went back to Oldale town and went north to train, but found nothing but Poocheyna, which she couldn't do anything to. I caught one of them and named it P. On my way to leave I found a Wingull. It looked like it would be useful so I caught it and named it UPS, since it looked like it could deliver things

After battling all the trainers on route 104, I snuck through petalburg city to the pokecenter, where I healed Pheobe and the others and went into the grass to train. I caught a Zigazoon, who looked like he liked to steal things. I named him thief. He can steal whatever he wants, as long as it isn't from me and I get to get whatever he does steal. Shortly after I found a Ralts. It looked cool, so I named him flash. Then I realized he only knew growl, and he wasn't so cool anymore.

When we finished training, I contemplated going to the gym and seeing my father. It was late, however, and I wasn't really interested in seeing him too soon. It was his fault I got stuffed into a moving truck. We went to Oldale town and picked up a room in the pokecenter for the night.

tl;dr
-received Torchic, named Slave
-Battled Brendan, won, recieved pokdex and pokeballs

-Had a bunch of trainers challenge me. Was easier once Pheobe learned wish.
-Arrived in petalburg. managed to get to pokecenter and back to route 104 without dad seeing me.
-Grinded Pheobe to level 9, During which I caught Zigazoon(Thief) and Ralts (Flash).
