I think hell froze over.

It did not even get above 15o F today, and I seriously doubt the wind chill went above 0o F.

Now it's going to snow 4-6 inches, Just flipping great. *points at name* I'M A WATER TYPE, NOT A FREAKING ICE TYPE!!!

OMG it snowed in my city last thursday...I forgot to mention it lol, I mean really snowed...not just a couple of flakes...I mean like 6 inches of snow.....This was the first time in 20 years that is snowed this much.....well almost 20 years...like I was 2 the last time this happend...lol....so like...18 years ago xD
 
Snow! Something Australia doesn't get... where I live. (Well it does in places, but not here)
 
Yeah, it snowed and iced here a bunch last night. :< And oh, I still have to go to work. I couldn't call in. >__>
 
It snowed in Melbourne once...At least I'm told that, I wasn't born, my parents were young or not born (I forget :S). I want light, fluffy snow to fall here. All I've seen was hard, icy stuff. A snowball with it could knock someone out D:

It's 80oF here, or 26 C. XD

n_n; I'd love a warm vacation around Christmas one year; the only times we've ever left our home this time of year is to go somewhere COLDER because we're stupid like that. (And our relatives live in really cold places. >:|)

We actually do the same, usually around this time of the year we head up to New York whenever there's an expected blizzard or somethin'. XD; We've been caught in white outs quite a few times there, fun stuff. But since the economy is LOLNO this year, no trip. :(
 
Aww, well, I haven't visited my relatives for Christmas since I was a little kid and we lived in the next province over, so we could roadtrip it.

The only other time we've been back near Christmas was in... 2005 or 2006 when my grandma died and we flew home from the funeral on December 24th. THAT was one hectic Christmas. We actually just postponed it for a day so that we could take advantage of Boxing Day deals in our Christmas shopping. XD;

Well, my relatives are all over the place, not just New York. (Virginia, North Carolina, all up 'n' down the east coast) I visited them about a year ago, though. Sorry about your grandma, thing is our family members always tend to die near Christmas, not the best timing.

And with the way people expect this Christmas to be the worst economically 'n' all that jazz, I'd bet a lot of families would do that same thing. :x
 
My relatives are all in Saskatchewan. My dad's side is in one city and my mom's side is in another city about an hour and a half away. Only a few individual families on either side live outside that province. (That'd be us, my uncle in Victoria, BC, my aunt in Germany, my other aunt who lives in the same city as me, and my uncle out in South Korea.) xD

And yeah, it's an awful time to go especially since for years later Christmas reminds you of the loss. x_x; It was my mom's mom and certain carols she can't even listen to anymore because of it. :([/depressing]
