Well I originally voted pink the first go round - this time I went with the blue.

I voted for blue too~! Although, I would have voted for canary yellow if it was available. But that might be a little too bright...

Personally, I'd like orange, however I'm going to be slack and leave it till a bit later.
This way, I can vote to keep pink out, lol.

Looks like there a many-a-member voting when they shouldn't be. XD

Need a new topic....
What is your favourite subject at school and why?
If you are finished, then reminisce, I invite you...
I've withheld my vote for that very reason both times. XD; Though blue is winning by a landslide right now, I'll still wait. I haven't quite decided between blue and orange anyway. D:

And fffff oh god the members voting when they shouldn't. I don't know what else to do. XD; I put big huge bold text in the post. Knowing they wouldn't read the post I put "COMMUNITY SUPPORTERS ONLY" right in the poll and... and they still voted. *tears hair out* DDD8 (Now d'you guys see why I kept it in the VIP forum as long as possible? XDD)

ANYWAY. My favourite subject is... I dunno. I was pretty annoyed with school last term. In high school I liked Information Technology the best since I was really good at it and spent all my time in class slacking off and posting at PC. And I'd do my work at home or right before the end of class and still get it done a few minutes before everyone else. 8D

In uni I like algebra most, I suppose.

Yeah as much I want to vote for pink, I went ahead and vote for blue. I got to do what is right for the forum. We want more people to donate. I understand it now. ^^

Oh my favorite subjects are Math and History. Math(especially Algebra) I don't know, I like working with numbers. And I work in a place that deals with math, so that is important. Well the highest math I am right now is Calculus II, and it is kicking me. I don't understand it. But I won't give up! I will keep trying!

And History, I just love to learn about what happened before I was born. How this earth got created and how leaders around the world fight for a country and freedom. It is just interesting. And plus get to learn the cultures of worlds too. :3

Hm... Reading has always been one of my favorites, although I haven't been liking middle school reading so much.

Currently, I'm really enjoying American History. I've had great teachers for the past two years so that helps ;D

^ Oh yeah, like if you have a wonderful teacher you ended up liking the subject. Because I had a few bad teachers/hard teachers, and they made me distaste the subject for a bit. A great teacher will bring it back up again. XD And I had a lot a great teachers. And some bad ones..

American History rules! XD

To an extent. Certain subjects you will just like regardless of the teacher.
I didn't like my first French teacher, but I still liked the subject and I now have an awesome teacher...
Geography just annoys me. The teachers have been fine, although I just hate the topic.
I can't really choose, though.
I like Science, Maths, (it has an "S" everywhere outside of the US), French, IT...
It's rather lucky that I like so many subjects, as I really struggle to do things if I don't enjoy it.

Hmm... I had a really good Pre-Calculus teacher, however; I still hate higher mathematics with a flaming passion.
If you can't tell by the way I express myself on the forums, I have quite a love for English. It has, and always will be, my favorite subject in school. I just don't see how people don't like it.
(I suppose one could argue that it's boring... but what other core class do you get to express yourself through?)

Apart from maths, even maybe so more than maths English would have to be one of the MOST important subjects in school. Imagine writing an application for a job, and having millions of spelling errors. They wouldn't think highly of you! I don't mind English, in fact I like English the teacher just ruins it for me:(

English is one of the best lessons at school, apart from P.E!

Well now I know why my friend Chatsy always uses "maths"

That's why I just use the term "mathematics."
It's pleasing to every form of English out there.
(Unless we're talking about Old English, but that doesn't really count, now does it?)

I don't know, I've argued with myself over which form of English to use. I live in the United States, so I must use U.S. English while in school, however; I once thought it would be a neat idea to start using the Queen's English when not "on the clock." After a few months of doing so, I figured it was too much of a hassle. I was afraid I would spell something in the Queen's English, then turn around and write it in U.S. English in the next sentence. It was a little too hectic for my taste.

I've always thought that UK/Canadian English has lovely spellings. I'm probably quite biased since it's what I grew up with but for some reason, I just love the way "colour" looks over "color". I went through a bit of a phase in high school where I wrote only in UK English and my teachers didn't care (or notice) but eventually I got tired of it and went back to Canadian English.

There may have been other things, but during that phase mostly the only difference in my spelling was that I was spelling "standardise" instead of "standardize". The former is UK English and the latter is US English. Canadian English is just crazy in the sense that while we use UK standard for most things, we borrow a lot of American spellings. XD; I'm glad Firefox has a Canadian dictionary for spellcheck because sometimes it'll pick up when I'm using the wrong form of English and let me know. @_@;

Whoa, that makes sense now. I been seeing everyone saying "Maths". Of course it is Math in the US. But outside it is Maths. That is a nice thing to know. ^^

My least favorite subjects while I was at school was English and Science. Don't get me wrong I love English. But writing reports just isn't great for me. I hate it! Can we just write whatever we want not just what the teacher wants us to write about. I just can't write well. I get writer's block. But English is the most important.

And Science...it was a little boring for me. I didn't get conversions, learning about matter and stuff. But when I was a senior in high school, I had a wonderful Physics teacher. I didn't get the material at first, but he helped me. And I got a lot better. And because of him I liked Science. ^^

Now I want to see if I can finish college.

I hated English in school too. XD I liked it when I was younger but after high school, I just said "No more!" and now I basically refuse to take another English course. I mean, if I have to, I will, but I'd rather take a lot of other things first. x_x I just hate writing things to certain standards. At least with math and science, there's basically always one right answer. So long as you know the formulas, you can get to it. But with English, if you have a biased teacher, or someone who just dislikes your writing style, you get terrible marks. ~_~

I had a teacher like that. She didn't like my writing style at all. I had to fix it the way she wanted. I didn't get A's in my papers...the highest I will get was a C or a B-. She was pretty hard, but I did learn pretty good writing styles. I still don't like writing papers though. XD Math and Science was so much better. Like you said, if you know the formula it is pretty easy.
