Ugh...then don't say that at all, please. To be honest, that did kinda make me mad. I'm over it now, though.
 
I don't see the point in calling each other by their usernames if you know them and their real name. I know that a bunch of people, mostly Nica, just call me Ethan. It's nice to see people using real names, honestly.

It can also depend on the name. If it's something that sounds somewhat like a name, you're a lot more likely to cop your username from most people. XDude, if your username was a name like Stitch, people would more likely just call you that.

Maybe we should make a plan to call everyone by their real name? Hell I would be Ethan if the name wasn't taken by someone with 6 posts back in 2003.

Why do I always seem to have long posts in here?

And Ethan, are you obsessed with plans or stuff? Earlier you said for supporters to make their own smilies, now everyone call each other names... have you been to some community thing? XD; Also that is not long :O
 
A lot of people actually do call me by my real name, which is Adam. I like using real names, too. Since I've started talking to you on MSN, I've been calling you Ethan.
I like my user name, so I probably won't change it anytime soon (even though I'll be able to change it later this month).

If I know the person's name, I call them by it (unless they have a nickname that everyone else calls them). Your post isn't really that long...at least, it isn't to me.

You call a lot of people by their real names, though...More than you call other people their nicknames. I think you may be lying there.
 
Not everyone has nicknames though ;;

Just curious: why do you prefer nicknames? I don't really get how it adds meaning, but that's just me.
 
Nicknames personalize people. I'll rather call my friends nicknames to show that I know them personally. Normal names are so... boring.
 
For some reason, I prefer real names over the Internet. The funny thing is, the only place I have any nicknames is on the Internet, not IRL. Nicknames IRL probably wouldn't be too bad.
 
Over the interwebz i prefer nicknames, very few people i talk to on forums know my real name. IRL generally i address people by their names. Though a few of my closer friends have nicknames for each other.
 
I've had many nicknames in real life D: lol none of em were any good...
By the way, your username, Adam, probably isn't hard to remember...my memory is just suckage. I'd be like uhhh, X-numbers...Adam x3
I just don't like the concept of names (Nick or not) lol, they creep me out D:

That's rather unusual. Not saying there's anything wrong with avoiding using them, I've just never heard of that before.
