Yup, they sucked. D;

And... yeah the avatar looks a lot like Uni's HUGE macs. XD

I was scarred for life after one of those PC msn convos I innocently came in on T_T
I've never used a mac, so I don't see how the side of a hat on a chick can look like one.

Good thing you haven't used a mac, they're terrible to use. D:

I know too many mac haters to use one... I'd be murdered :D And they're sorta out of my price range xD (I'm using a $400 computer and don't have a laptop...)

Macs... uuugh, I hate clicking, selecting, the locations of everything, the windows open... D:

I prefer using Windows by far. :3;

Psh, Windows XP is where it's at. Don't make me feel Obsolete. Although isn't using XP now equivalent to using Windows 2000 when Vista was out?

I LOVE WINDOWS 7!
And XP!

But I haaaate Vista it's weird. D:

I've never had it, my computer couldn't run Vista XD I shall get a new computer soon and eggspearinants the joy of Windows 7?

I was an Apple hater for quite a long time. I boycotted eating the fruit at one stage. :D

Things... change. I now own a Macbook Pro and it's beautiful to use. The keyboards on those are much better than the desktop or standard macbook keyboards. Nica, I understand exactly where you are coming from with the interface differences, but you need to understand that it's just different, not wrong. That applies to more than just computers, but once I could acknowledge that, I found all of my perceptions changed for the better. Maybe getting a Mac is just symbolic of that? Oh crap, I sound like a Mac zealot. Somebody shoot me!

I also figure that if you spend so much time on something, you might as well spend the extra money to be comfortable using it.

My desktop has Vista, and personally, I much rather would prefer if it still had XP. It looked better and was much easier to use, imo.

Annndd... the mac makes everything harder. It's just Windows is easier. D:

Mac does. The fact that you need to click around windows a few times to actually access what window you're trying to get to. Uuugh it's hard to explain.

As for Vista, it makes the screen VERY blurry.

I have no opinion on macs, partly because I've never used one and partly because I'm pretty apathetic when it comes to most things. I would end up being murdered if I bought a mac, however (Not that I could buy one).
For now, however my desktop does everything I need it to and then some... I just need some sort of laptop for my upcoming holidays.

And Macs are harder because she's not used to them?

Time and patience will show you that it's JUST DIFFERENT. Many things are much easier, actually. It just goes against what's hard coded. I'm not pushing you to use or like it, I just don't like people judging things based on little experience or will to change.

Vista renders everything in exactly the same way as Windows 7 does. I think there's something wrong with your resolution...

Sorry but these are just my opinions of Macs and Vista - sure it may be different but I don't like it because it does make it harder for me to access stuff, that's all. :x

If you don't like either, that's perfectly cool. I just wanted to share my little "it's not wrong, it's different" revelation, purely because it applies to bigger things. ...but here's me getting all philosophical...

But I still think that there's something wrong with your Vista install. It's honestly no much different to Windows 7 as far as display.

Do me a favour, right-click the desktop in Vista, and select Customise. Go screen resolution and push it up a little. See if that's better. Most of the time, the highest resolution you can select is the right one, so try that. I'm just trying to help here.

Nah I've tried to change the resolution already and it didn't help. D:
But! Vista was already preinstalled with it, so meh.

Plus, Vista doesn't work with my hard drive, so it's another reason why I hate it (so I can't transfer my stuff from there unless I go from USB D:)

Well, I don't really care how old the software is, just as long as it works for the purpose I want it to.

I'm beginning to think there's a few things wrong with your Vista computer, lol. But it's good that you're happy with Windows 7. It's a beautiful operating system.

Gah, it's sooooooooo hot here.
