In AZ, if you want to go to a university, you have to take all four years of math, it kinda sucks considering I hate math.

Yea… college / sixth form would be the equivalent to yr 12 and 13. I think recently became mandatory too. xD
You choose up to four subjects, two minimum; that can lead up to a BA after you finish that.
The subjects only have 3 lessons per week an hour and a half per session.

Anyway, in Ontario (and possibly the rest of Canada), you only have to take math to grade 11. Then if the subject you plan to study in college or university requires more math courses, you take them. But if you go into, say, art, you don't need to. :B

Over here you had to redo yr11 maths, science or english if you didn't have the required GCSE grade for the subbject you wanted to go into. so that would be an extra year if they thought you couldn't handle doing college and high school work at the same time.

I plan to do web design or something next year at tafe and then probably go to uni overseas and get myself a good job since I'm not really too fond of living in Australia all my life

I want to move to Japan some day. My brother said being an English teacher there is pretty easy… you don't even have to speak Japanese either… or something like that. xD

@Originality Fails: o_O They won't let you do a low-level college math course or anything? I think you can do that here--just do a general program in university while taking some sort of uni level math course and then switch into the program you wanted.

I remember being REALLY weirded out when one of my online friends went to college two years early many years ago since she was 14 and I was like "WHAT HOW DID YOU GRADUATE SO SOON" because I thought college was the same thing as here. XD
