Just manufacturers coupons that come with daily papers. Sometime soon, it'll end up being a lot easier to sort through them, since they'll pretty much all be expired.

I don't even bother cutting out the ones that have expired... my job is to hunt for the ones that are still usable and cut them out.

That sounds so boring. How much do you get paid?

Whatever they save once I'm done.

So that could like in the hundreds?

 

[donavannj]

Yes it could. Probably'll be around $150 or so.

I wouldn't mind that for cutting coupons.

Coupons save a lot of money. ;) Especially if you use a lot of 'em.

 

[Guillermo]

Well, I only get money for getting good grades at school. Doubt I'd get it for cutting coupons.

 

[donavannj]

I never got money for good grades... only things taken away for bad ones.

Though I did get a weekly allowance... but that was sometimes hard to coerce out of my parents.

 

[Guillermo]

My weekly allowance sucks. Hopefully when I get a raise I might actually be able to buy stuff.

 

[donavannj]

I also had the opportunity to do yardwork for money in the summer. And babysitting year round. That helped some. If I were your age and were still getting an allowance, it would've been $7 total, but I'd have to put away $3.50.

 

[Guillermo]

I get $5 right now but when I get a raise it'll be $10.

 

[donavannj]

I only ever got a raise of $0.50 at a time. And that was on a yearly basis.

 

[Guillermo]

That would suck sooo much. :[

I get like a $5 raise every year but then I have to do more jobs.

 

[donavannj]

I had to do more jobs each year, too. But I shared some with my brother.

 

[Guillermo]

My sister lives in a seperate house and my step brother's an ass. Doubt I'd be sharing with them.

 

[donavannj]

I shared duties with him because we've lived together for his entire existence, and parental authority split the duties.

 

[Guillermo]

My sister has always been 5 years older than me (minus when the month and a bit when she was 6 years older because it hadn't been my birthday yet) and so I never did any chores while she did so we never split them.
