I agree with the above. At first it might've been believable, like.. towards the start. Though, the writer claims to have researched Pokemon, and yet gets everything about it incorrect. Also misspells the word 'Pokemon', so that it's different each time. Doesn't sound like an educated adult.. sounds like a troll. xD;

Though, there are people who really do feel that way towards Pokemon, it's sad, really.

I didn't take it seriously even before I knew it was all one big troll. Though there are people who will rip apart Pokemon in every sense in attempts to relate it to religious concepts, for whatever reason, that page was just screaming "troll" the whole time. :D

Metapod: is one of the rarest and most powerful Pokemons. It is surely no coincidence that it is crescent shaped, like the crescent-moon the Muslims worship. This is burka-clad pokeman is an advert for children to turn away from Jesus Christ, as the player who can evolve the most Pokemons into Islamofascist Metapods is at an advantage.

An interesting read, to say the least.

I think you are making one very large mistake : You compare the bible and your beliefs to a form of entertaining fiction.
It is not meant to teach a child how to live his life.
It is not meant to somehow offend you.
And it is certainly not meant to promote Satan, the Islam, or perverse Occult rituals!

I have an 8 year old son, and I let him play the pokemon videogame you mention and watch the pokemon "Hentai" (The correct term would be "Anime") you so despice, and I have not seen him worship Satan or wear a burka to school anytime recently.

Why? It's simple, Pokemon is a form of light entertainment thats not obtructed by hard to understand moral dilemma's and/or deeper meanings. In short : "It's for children."

Pokemon was designed so that children could connect to each other through having the same interest. In the game, they grow and take care of their pokemon, and trade them with their friend's pokemon. It's like a trading card game, but easier to handle, and much more involved.

Also, the theory of evolution was not debunked. Instead of just the Bible, it could be a good experience to read up on science or history. And while you're at it, you might as well want to let your daughter read it, instead of filtering everything she comes into contact with, she should make her own judgement about the world around her.

It's been said before, but people seem to be missing the fact that this is satire (it's easy to miss if you just skim the article, perhaps a mod could edit the title?). It's also an article that almost 5 years old.

I completely disagree with this. Even if this article were not satire, Simply because one Conservative is a nutcase does not mean all of them are. There are plenty of moronic people on all parts of the political spectrum.
