Hmm. I'm very well-known, but I hate to call myself "cool". D8 I hate labelling myself and other people, and in my school there isn't really a "cool crowd" or anything like that. XD;; We're all cool for different reasons.

And I think you are all cool. YAY FOR COOL PEOPLE! 8DDD -shot-
 
I'm not cool, if I say so myself. Everyone in my class says I'm cool because I get good grades and I treat just about everyone with utmost respect. But no, I don't live up to trends. I'm not "cool."

An interesting thought from some commercial:

"When you're cool, you can only be cool for a short period of time. Trends wear out eventually, and you won't be cool. What's better, though, is being smart. The smart people have been hailed for thousands of years, and the cool people haven't."
 
My friends and I call each other losers and make fun of our utter uncoolness. :\ We're all geeks and nerds.

But then again, my school doesn't really have any major cliques or popular kids. There are the few people that everyone knows, but most of them aren't even in the same group of friends. I like it that way. *shrug*
 
Only if you consider hanging out with emos as best friends cool...then yeah! Other than that no, then again it depends how you define cool...in general I would say I'm pretty cool if you were to get to know me but if tis popularity you mean than...no. XD

But seriously, being cool is a matter of absurd ranking. To tell you the truth, being cool is nonexistant. "Popular" is almost a not a word in school. or, pretty much else.

There's no sense of 'cool' in the school anymore due to the administration's attempts to suppress it.

Yet when I started high school I never was. In the years prior, though, it was a different story, although much of it was carried on by deceit.
 
I'm slightly cool at my school, aside from one of those... *shivers* nvm.. I couldn't resist the pancakes option, however.
 
I don't believe in labels. "Cool" didn't get me my job, and it isn't going to pay for my college tuition. The pancakes option was SCREAMING to be pressed, however.

...As for in school, dude, I play POKEMON, okay? I think its safe to say that I'm not.
 
Yes...I have always lived by the same standard
It's ok to try it out if you feel that you may enjoy it too but I dont force myself to participate in a fad if I dont like it..
 
Yes. I beleive I am very cool for many reasons. My good looks, modesty, calm, tough personality and my confidence.
 
I'll try not to be complicated, but I need to explain something.

First of all: I consider myself cool.
But then, I'm not in highschool anymore (thank god!), I was considered uncool back then. But when you're out of it, everything changes.

I hang around with a good couple of friends, and to us, we are cool. It's about who you choose to hang around with.

So, I'd just like to say something. Highschool sucks, for practically everyone, even the cool kids. Even being a teenager sucks. I know, for I have been one.
But fear not, life gets better! Just try to cope with it and gradually, life will grow on you.
 
I voted no though I think this poll should have a posibbility of an answer somewhere in the middle between no and yes (I like pancakes doesn't count^^). Because I for one am not popular a lot but still I wouldn't say that I'm not popular at all since I can talk to almost all of my schoolmates no matter how popular they are.
 
I dont know what to vote. i hang out with the "uncool kids" but theyre pretty cool, yet everyone seems to know me even if i dont know them... so i voted for them pancakes!! yum..... i love them.
