Doubt it the gatehouse to the park connects to that new area if you look closely. Lol this time the park won't have the Pokemon follow just thought of that. OH! Cynthia. She could be met when buying a secretpotion for the ampharos at the lighthouse.

Gold is seen talking to a Steelix because it is referencing to how you can talk to your Pokémon that is folloing you first on your party. Your Pokémon that follows will sometimes be found holding an item, so at times you can turn to talk to it and see if you have recieved anything new. It is a great feature and it was more than likely based off of how they did things in Amity Square from DPPt.

Oh yup that is just darn cool. Unfortunately I haven't played D/P/Pt so I wouldn't have a clue what you're on about. :)

^ is that area all the way on top before the guy stops you due to no badge. So that means the grassy patch could have mareep before the first gym.

Maybe the guy happens to be farther down. (Text blocking him?) I don't think we should have Mareep before the first gym, that is just plain crazy. The first gym is easy enough without even needing Mareep!

Yes, yor first team member will be able to follow you and occasionally it'll pick up random items. More than likely these items will range from berries to accessories that are used in Pokémon Contests. When I referred to the Amity Square from DPPt, I meant a certain area in a city called Hearthome City. It is a location where you can bring in a certain Pokémon to walk with you, such as Pikachu, and every 200 steps it'll pick up an item for you. So, this is what they have basically done with the HeartGold and SoulSilver remakes. However, they have expanded the idea allowing all 493 Pokémon to follow us anywhere in the region of Johto and Kanto.

Yes, seeing as this is only what we can see on a DS screen, it is possible the same character is farther down where we cannot see him. If this is so, then Mareep may still be catchable after the first gym like in the originals. Whichever way it may be, it is not a huge big deal to me. The first gym leader is not extremely hard to defeat like you have stated and catching a super effective type for Folkner will only decrease the level of difficulty from the start of the game. Nevertheless, I'd still hope to see some repositioning of the Pokémon to appear in certain different locations from the original, but we'll see how far of an extent this idea maybe taken, if at all.

I think that the character happens to be farther down, or perhaps the character in that image has already beaten the first gym, and he's ready to travel down there. It's not a huge deal to me either, but I don't really think they need to reposition Mareep it was perfect where it was at already. Everyone knows that Falkner wasn't hard to beat. I hope the reposition some other Pokémon, can't think of any off the top of my head. But Mareep just isn't one. But if it happens I'm not going to flip out, I'm going to catch that darn Mareep.

I'm so happy that we got to see more scans today. It has made my day. I really like how they put the Pokedex, Pc box, Pack and the status screen on the touch screen. (I'll probably use my brother's Ds since my touch screen no longer works.) I also like how they made Cherrygrove City look. It's so pretty. ^_^ The Ruins of Alph look better than I thought. I've noticed on the map of Johto, the tracks are in Goldenrod and extend to that route south of Violet city. That looks cool, too. I'm so looking forward to this game. ^_^

This is actually what a lot of people have been questioning. I agree though that it just looks like too much to be a Pal Park. Not even the Pal Park portrayed in DPPt had appeared that big. There is a possibility it could be the Battle Frontier though as there is some similar resemblance to that of the one found in Platinum. I think if it is anything big we can expect it to hear about it either by the next release of scans or as we near closer to the Japanese release. Also, I would think another Pal Park in the remakes wouldn't be extremely needed seeing you can basically fill the PokéDex just between DPPt and HeartGold and SoulSilver, but we'll see later on what it may be.
 
The scans look very interesting.

It brings up sooo many new questions, like what part will the weather trio play?
 
i will definetly get heartgold and if you need more offical info on the game go to www.bulbapedia.com and look up heartgold. its got the best updated info.

and i think that groudon kyogre will both be available in each game and that rayquaza will be unlocked after in each game once you battle/catch groudon and kyogre

and that there will probably be pal park in the games and like in d/p/pl will be unlocked after you get the national dex ^_^

i'm pretty shure thats a scan of a fake or glitched game!! just look at it! you can tottaly tell
 
Ok, way too many awesome things to comment on...

The new Pokedex interface is just ownage. I love how it looks and how I imagine it will function. It tops all previous ones by a long mile if it work like I imagine.

The redesigned Elm looks really good and IMO fits his shown persona more. That being the clumsy and inexperienced professor who got robbed without noticing. He looks really unorganized and the stubble may just be to add on to that, but regardless he looks very improved. Also the redesigned Silver looks freaking badass, way more than his original. Now he looks like the love child of Roark and Mars, but Giovanni just found and adopted him XD He just generally looks more lean and mean. The jacket also looks way better to me. I can't wait for a clearer scan so I can make an avatar or too.

The new Pokemon status screen look just as awesome as the new Pokedex interface. It looks more slick and organized too. All the use of the touchscreen added in is also a great addition, and I mean to everything not just status.

The new bag interface, or at least what I assume it is, look 10x better. The random 3D model of the trainer and their bag seems kinda weird but defiantly not bad. Agian, the added touchscreen usage is very nice.

Finally, it seems the following Pokemon has be confirmed to be done with every land Pokemon. I wonder if legendaries and certain fish Pokemon will also be able to follow you. I also ponder if surfing or bike riding will get some sort of addiction with the Pokemon. Also picking up items and what not will be pretty useful and nice feature.

Yes, Bulbapedia is known for the great updates. However, the link you provided doesn't lead us to Bulbapedia's page @_@. Anyway, it has been seen or at least proven by scans that Kyogre will be found exclusively in HeartGold. While Groudon, will be found exclusively in SoulSilver. After you trade either Kyogre into SoulSilver or Groudon into HeartGold and you have both of them, it'll then activate the Rayquaza. How will these Pokémn be obtained is unknown for now. Though, I've been thinking, and even if they keep Lugia and Ho-Oh available in each game, having Kyogre and Groudon version exclusive and needed to obtain Rayquaza is definitely a way of provoking fans to buy both games rather than one.

It has actually been confirmed on Serebii.net that all 493 Pokémon will be available to tag along behind you. This includes land based Pokémon and water based Pokémon as well [in addition to legendaries too]. If you ask me how it'll all work out, I wouldn't know, but this is a better option than keeping it to a certain range of Pokémon in my opinion, as it'll lessen the amount of complaints about it.

and my friend does sum scans 4 serribe thats why im pretty shure that scan was fake!! srry but serriibe dsnt always tell the truth.

1. There's 6 pages. That's a LOT more than most fake scans
2. The Character art looks to be Sugimori's style and fits perfectly
3. The overworld graphics match all of the pics we've seen
4. There's a huge handdrawn map of Johto that completely matches with the handdrawn maps of Hoenn, Kanto, and Sinnoh. I completely doubt someone would take the time and effort to do something that's fake
