  • It's Ruby/Sapphire rehashed? Hmmmmmm.
Curious! This makes me believe we're going to end up with a 'Delta Emerald' afterall.

Perhaps it'll be a sequel instead! Would anyone else be down for a sequel to the RSE series? I honestly think they should take this 'remake' thing to the next level now.

I think that the changes we've seen are signs of the remakes going to the next Level. I don't think they'll make it a Sequel if they did do DeltaEmerald for the sake of sticking to the core of the story, but they'll add in what we've seen in RSE. If we don't see an Ancient Rayquaza it'll be a sign that we probably will see DeltaEmerald after all.

  • I'm glad that I made my mind with choosing Treecko before seeing its mega evolution. Now I want it even more! Swampert looks like it's been hitting the gym these past 11 years.

Not a fan of Steven having a mega Charizard over a mega Aggron/Metagross, but at least he's getting something. I'm kind of curious as to why though, since he usually runs steel/fossil-based Pokemon. Maybe he's just introducing mega evolutions to the player by showing off one of his discoveries?

I like the changes made with the protagonists, they really seem to fit the theme of Hoenn being more of a tropical region.

I'm surprised they made some big changes to Team Magma/Aqua's aesthetics. I might be the only one here who thinks this, but I don't like how they made Tabitha, who was a bad***, into some pudgy kid. Everyone else looks pretty good, mainly Team Aqua.

I think we'll see Ancient Rayquaza. Also do you think Steven is trying to discover new things about mega evolution

I don't think that Steven will use his Charizard at all. Note that it's Level is 100 on the screenshot and that he's in the middle of a route. I think that he's giving the Player a demonstration of how mega evolution works similar to how the Professor sends out Azurill and the like during the intro.

I don't like how Tabitha is fat either...I would've expected his Aqua counterpart to be the fat one considering in the originals he had a beer belly.

  • For all of those waiting for an announcement of Pokémon Z / Delta Emerald, how do we not know that these could be the same game, combining elements of both X/Y and OR/AS, a Pokémon Zemerald, if you will...

I think that the guy who drew the characters for BW were the ones who drew them, at least the characters as they look similar to their BW counterparts.
    That is Ken Sugimori.

I'm just not a fan of his art at all. Especially his human designs.

Look how awkward Peach looks in this.

  • Y'know, after this evenings CoroCoro leak I'm thinking Delta Emerald is all the more likely to surface. Sure it's a long shot, but first we had third game then a remake, next we had two sequels and no remake.. why not remakes and a sequel of the remake? It's a completely different path to take and with the ORAS maintaining the original storylines, Delta Emerald would tie them both up nicely to close off Generation VI.

  • I don't think they're exclusive to them. Specially when that form of Super Evolution (I'm using this as a general term to refer to both Mega and Ancient) would fit Pokemon like Tangrowth, Mamoswine, and Yanmega.

I posted this in the DCC thread. I don't think that Steven will actually use Mega Charizard X. It's level is 100, making me think he's simply giving us a Demonstration of Mega Evolution.

You know, I hadn't noticed that it was level 100. You're probably right about that.

And I'm pretty sure their ancient forms have to do with the story line, and if not, this would be a pretty random time to introduce it. I just don't see this being a thing with normal pokemon. We just got mega evolution; there's no need for it.

I doubt that DeltaEmerald will be a sequel but it is more likely now. Also it'll make GF more money. Three is better than two after all. Hey...do you guys think they'll have the BF after all? I hope that they add in Emerald elements like with HgSs.

I'm not an art specialist, so I couldn't tell. So it's not the Gen V guy after all huh?
    Ken drew Gen V.

He doesn't know how to work with proportions at all. Look at the Smash picture with Peach and Link above. Why do they have tall torsos?

And then there's the fact May and Brendan aren't wearing socks here. Come on, Ken.

I heard someone on the art thread that it was someone else...grr can't trust anyone...

Well the socks are probably small, in XY one can barely see them in the models as the socks aren't long socks.

  • Lightning Rod on Sceptile? Really? What on earth does that even accomplish?

If everything there is legitimate, then everyone's predictions about Kyogre and Groudon getting new formes were accurate, though no one guessed it as being something called "Ancient Devolution".

I guessed their be devolutions of their RSE selves. Also they may not be formes, but a devolution counterpart to Mega Evolution. Well I guess if one is being technical they could be considered formes like how some consider Megas to be formes...

I think that the Diancie stone will be distributed upon release like the Mega Stone for Blaziken. Or it'll be in game and we'll get Diancie like we got Genosect in B2W2.
