4th Gen CoroCoro Scans (May 13th) / Famitsu scans (May 14th) - discussion

How about Ecruteak? The old Japanese style is very beautiful now in DS stunning-o-vision. Man this has to be the first gen that went amazingly bland to super amazing this time they did it right, to freaking mind blowing awesome piece of art. This is of course following RSE which went meh, wow, super meh again?! i wanted fr/lg graphics!

You better have a Toys r us near you or you will get upset. The Notch Ear pichu sidequest is only unlocked through the shiny one. Thankfully AR will help me with that.
 
i always loved Totodile/Feraligatr and it follows you out of the ball i always had to pick it as my starter no matter what and now seeing it again in a remake of G/S im so c) all of the above.
 
I go to see the new sprite for Cyndaquil from recent new information, and I have got to say it looks awesome. Totodile's and Chikorita's as well looks jsut as great. I've got to hand it to them this time, the sprites are looking good so far.

I find Cyndaqui's Sprite Is wierd though still awsome.
Totodile was Actully The cutest xD
 
Cyndaquil's new sprite from the video and scans look different from what they usually do. The OW sprite is great work though for it.
 
I think Cyndaquil's new sprite was okay, I like Chikorita's sprite more though. Totodile's sprite was pretty cool, I couldn't see anything wrong with it.
 
With the scans and new information on how the sprites look, the starters really seem to have a look that matches their anime personality. That's what I see anyway, especially with Totodile's new sprite look from the video and scans.

Yes Eckruteak was very different but still pretty cool. I wonder how the other cities and towns will be like. It all leaves us to think.

Well we do know that the marts will have a blue flag. I wonder if the PC's will have a red one.
 
I wouldn't doubt if the PokéCenters will have a red flag.

By the way, the event is as good as mines, because luckily I've got a Toys 'R Us not too far away.

What do you mean by blue flag and red flag? Do you mean flags on the roof of the Pokemon Center and Pokémart?

Anyways, I wonder if the Pokemon Center will look the same with just better graphics? I hope it does, it was much more bigger than the ones now. If it isn't though, I wouldn't mind.

Yeah in the recent Pokemon Sunday video a blue flag was on top of the mart. And I wonder if red for PC.
 
Oh ok. Well it most likely will be, but we'll see what happens. I wouldn't mind if it is there or not, but it would be nice to have it.
 
For me, if it isn't there it wouldn't look right. I mean the Pokémon Center and the Mart have always kept a similar look with one another.

Wait, are you saying you really now noticed the trees are different? I mean, it was seen since the very first scans. Anyways, they are making the Johto looks well touched.

No no I noticed it for a while. But I just saw for myself if I couldn't remember correctly cause its been a year since I touched diamond and I can say it safely. everything in here is new and I do not see anything old. Maybe the ground in some areas but thats it. Perfect job no copy paste. Except for the shrine.
 
If you look at the houses, you can see it is a bit similar to the ones in DPPt. If not, then they only made a few differenced with it.
