You might be surprised to hear this, but my first game was Sword, and playing it is nostalgic for some reason. So, as much as other people may object, Sword is my favorite :3

Hello!
I quite liked SwSh myself. Probably my fav games after the gen 6 games. I found it more enjoyable than the other switch Pokemon games myself. BDSP and SV were both enjoyable games, but if not for shiny hunting I would've stopped playing SV long ago lol.
Do you pick your starters based on type or just whichever you like the most? =3
