Could use some advice on a strong Psychic team?

    Hey guys, first things first, HI! :) I'm new here. and i have a few questions:

    It's my dream to make a wonderful psychic team on Heart Gold. I'm thinking of having...Jynx, Alakazam, and then..i get lost. any help would be great(:
     
    Some good Psychic Pokemon to use include:
    -Gardevoir
    -Gallade
    -Claydol
    -Slowbro
    -Bronzong
    -Mr. Mime
    -Wobbuffet
    -Medicham
    -Metagross

    Hope I helped you get started on this. You just have to think of the sets to give your team.

    Slowking is pretty good too in HG. You can get it early in game because it's a trade-evo. It's special moves are devastating and it can use curse, which is extremely useful vs Whitney.

    Oh and you can't rule out Hypno, Alakazam, Grumpig and Xatu.
    And Exeggutor.

    Well, Alakazam was already mentioned. And the other 3 are pretty decent as well.
     
    You've got quite a lot of variety in HG/SS regarding Phsycic types.

    - Espeon
    - Xatu
    -Slowbro
    - Slowking
    - Wobuffet
    - Alakazam
    - Hypno
    - Grumpig
    - Mr Mime


    Some of the other, other posters mentioned you might need to trade for or do other things to obtain them etc.
     
    Starmie
    Exeggutor
    Alakazam
    Metagross
    Espeon
    Claydol

    Gallade is great too
     
    a good psychic team i can think of is:

    Girafarig : not many people use him but he's great

    Metagross: bulky and powerfull

    alakazam: hi's a must

    Exegutor: great sunnybeam combo

    starmie: great movepool

    gardevoir/gallade: both are great
     
    No one hasn't mentioned Mewtwo, Mew, Latios, Latias, Lugia? OP never said he's avoiding legendary. :/
     
    slowbro and hypno are some good pokemon to use

    from legendary i would use lugia or latios
     
    As for an entire team, I would go with..
    Slowbro, decent defenses and good sp. atk

    Exeggutor, type coverage and a good special sweeper

    Claydol, good type coverage and hes a wall i believe

    Xatu, type coverage and because hes cool :)

    Metagross, good physical sweeper and good type coverage

    Jynx, fast, and good type coverage
