I suck at spriting, so I just made some new eyes and a crystal thingy on the abdomen. Maybe Ice/Bug type?

I felt a change of perspective was needed since it looked weird.

(although I don't have enough time to redo the nearside legs so someone else will need to do them) edit: Never mind, I took some time to fix it and now it looks cool :D

I adjusted the positioning of the eyes and reworked the head shape.

The shading on this is gonna be a pain in the butt though... between the legs, the crystal, the white...

I agree.

Here, I made the body very slightly blue, changed the legs slightly to match, and made the pincers blue as well. I can't do shading, so :P
