Crime & Punishment (PG-14)

"So, it's gonna be war, huh? Hrm. Just like the old days..."

The kids seem nervous. Most of them haven't seen enough time to know what they're getting into. Some seem to have an idea, though. Gotta respect that. I'll just hang back and let them talk with each other.

I listen, but only half. "I've never been one to mingle with the crowd. The kids need each other for strength. They'll need all they can get."

I approach George when he seems to have a moment. "George, right? I'm Warren, Warren Christoff. I'll help get the kid, I mean, John. I have some experience finding and grabbing people."

-I crossed his arms, closing my eyes. I knew what this meant, most of the time when someone said that something related to the mob brought back bad memories, it usually meant that person had been severely affected by the mob in some way. I decided to try and help, knowing these were dangerous grounds.-

"I can understand that. Listen... I'm pretty sure I could help to lessen some of the burden on your shoulders. I don't think we will be leaving for a while anyway... How about you tell me some of what happened to you... and I will share a bit of my own past? Maybe we will be able to help each other."

-I offered a kind smile, trying to encourage her to share something. I really did want to help, and I was told I was a good listener by a few people...

(And with this its off to the world of sleep, night all, I will reply to stuffs in the morning)

Keana looked up in shock no one had ever offered to help her. "When i was four my parents gave me to the mob in order to stay alive. From then to just two days ago, i was forced to take drugs, was beaten...a...and r..raped" she said before letting the tears that had wanted to fall since she was four fall.

"Warren, I hope its as simple as finding and grabbing him" George said, "but I just want to be safe taking a group." George paused. "Their is a tricky part to kidnapping him, if he dies we not only lose him as a possible source of collateral to use against the mob but it will bring all the mob down on us. At this point we are either unknown or beneath notice, if we succeed then we might come into play as a viable threat." George explained. "But i'm happy someone who looks older then twenty-five is involved in all this" George said.

Hmm...cutting off their supply...or kidnapping the heir to the throne? I've done the first one and didn't work out...Only one option left I guess...

I approached our leader, George, after he finished his speech with Tommy following me. I told him I wanted to kidnap that John kid and then left. I saw people talking to each other, but couldn't hear a thing. I turned to my Machoke.
"Okay, Tommy, change of plans, as you can see. It's far more risky than what I had in mind, but I think it'll work. Don't you agree?"
"Choke." Tommy said and nodded.
"Good, but we're gonna need some backup, this ain't gonna be no walk in the park..."I paused for some seconds, as the word "park" brought me some awful memories. "...Oh, what the hell, let's do it!"
"CHOKE! MACHOKE!" Tommy said sounding eager.

Heh...Looks like I wasn't the only one the mob screwed over...

I started to find George. He was talking to another man, someone who looked like he was in his forties. Even if he was a bit old, he was cute too. He was a bit on the short side (which was fine), wide shoulders, and blue eyes. I always had the strangest taste in men, but that was just me.

"George," I called, "I would like to do the first one, cut off their supplies."

Estelle watched as the others talked, some seeming to become friends rather quickly. She saw a woman with a Scizor go up to George and another older man and announce that she planned on helping with cutting off supplies. Estelle decided she couldn't just stand around and wait, she needed to at least let their leader know what she planned on doing.

She walked up to the two of them. "I'd also like to help with cutting off supplies," she stated, looking only at George.

OOC: I'm gonna be going to sleep pretty soon, the story will continues tomorrow at 5 P.M.~ish on the site's time.

IC:

"Alright then" George said to Lucy, "I hope your group ends up successful, for everyones sake I hope that everything goes exactly as planned tomorrow, but it would be foolish to expect as much." he paused, "Still, we have to be successful, these first strikes shall be the most important of this campaign" he finished.

OOC: Yeah I have to get off too.

"Yeah let's hope too," I said, "You are going on team two right? Good luck on your end."

((I snuck back on :D))

-I nodded, putting a comforting hand on her shoulder. Inside my mind, I growled. I made sure to take a mental note, to beat the sense out of all the mobsters he saw during the raid. I wasn't the most trained and advanced fighters in hand to hand combat, but I could street fight.-

"Keana... it's okay to cry. Hell, I would have broken down long ago if I were you. You were, and are very strong. But it's not good to keep these things inside you, bottled up, as it might lead you to do something you will regret."

-I sighed a bit, closing my eyes and pausing before answering, my eyes still closed.-

"I guess I said I would tell you a bit about me right? Well, I will be fair and say that nothing that I will say right now, will be able to match the horrors you had to endure. Well first off, I had no parents... no mom or dad to take care of me. I woke up in the forest one day at the age of 6 I beleive. I had no idea how I got there, not even my own name, so I made one..."

Well first off, I had no parents... no mom or dad to take care of me. I woke up in the forest one day at the age of 6 I beleive. I had no idea how I got there, not even my own name, so I made one..." She heard Sky say remembering his comment on how it was okay to cry she looked up still struggling against tears.

"The last time i cried was the day my parents gave me to the mobsters...every since then i've bottled my emotions."

(AND AGAIN XD))
-I made a "tsk" sound, wagging my finger at her.-

"Like I said, veeery bad idea. The way you talk about it, if you saw your mom or dad at this moment, you would order your pokemon to fry em right on the spot. And eventually, you would come to regret that. Now you wouldn't want that. would you?"

-I waited for a few seconds, then turned and walked up the the platform, calling behind me-

" I promise we will talk later Keana!"

-When he reached the platform he walked up to George, staring straight at him.-

"Yeah I'm gonna have to try my luck at the raid. Kidnapping people isn't my forte, and to be honest. I would stop you all right then and there if you tried. It's wrong, but what in this world is right? Like I said, I'm going for the raid."

Keana shook her head as Sky walked away. She wiped the few tears that had fallen away quickly. "Now is not the time to break...i've stayed strong all these years and if i break now...i don't know what I'd do" she muttered to herself not taking Sky's advice and bottling her emotions again as she went to find a spot to wait for the two missions to start

I saw a lot of people going to where George was and telling him something about the missions, I think they said they would help with the supply cut.

Hmmm...Wonder who's gonna be on my team...I can't do that by myself...They'll fry me in a matter of seconds...

I took out my coat and gave it to Tommy, who carried it on his back. I was going to ask George who else was up for kidnapping, but I decided against it. I'd find out sooner or later.

"Well, we'll just have to wait till then, eh Tommy?"
"Choke. Ma. Choke."

I didn't know whether to stay there or go to my place.

I'm tired...but I'll stay...until George tells us to go.

Keana sighed sitting down she could see Sky up on the platform talking to George and couldn't help but wonder who else would be joining her on the kidnapping mission. Brushing her hand across her cheek her eyes widened noticeably in shock. She hadn't realized it but she had been silently crying... something she hadn't done in twelve years. With a shaky breath she buried her face in her knees as her shoulders shook with silent sobs. Blade and Dagger curled close to her sensing her pain and distress.

The First Strike-Part 2:

George looked at the clock hanging off the wall, if was almost time to leave for both of the groups. "Alright" George yelled to get attention, "Both groups will be leaving soon, so I will go over the plan now." he said.

"The group coming with me to abduct John will just intercept him as he walks home from school, simple as that. We will be armed with tranquilizer guns so we can sedate him if he resist." he said.

"The second group will go here" George said, pulling down a map attached to the wall that represented the entire city. "You will wait on the second story of the building directly North of where the deal will be taking place" he said, indicating a building on the map. "The reason for this location is that any bullets that do fly will avoid the residential area over here and that being on the second story should supply you with a height advantage" he explained.

"Are their any questions? If not we leave immediately." he finished.

Keana looked up wiping her eyes and splashing her face with some water from the bottle in her bag so she no longer looked like she had been crying as she heard.

"Alright" a voice yelled to get attention, "Both groups will be leaving soon, so I will go over the plan now." Keana looked up seeing it was George speaking as she stood at attention.

"The group coming with me to abduct John will just intercept him as he walks home from school, simple as that. We will be armed with tranquilizer guns so we can sedate him if he resist." he said.

"The second group will go here" George said, pulling down a map attached to the wall that represented the entire city. "The reason for this location is that any bullets that do fly will avoid the residential area over here and that being on the second story should supply you with a height advantage" he explained.

"Are their any questions? If not we leave immediately." he finished.

Keana nodded to herself making her way to the group going with George her Pokemon at her sides. "George I'd like to let you know that if it comes to us needing a distraction to get the boy out unharmed... I'll do it without hesitation" she said her eyes full of a seriousness not possessed by most sixteen year olds.

Nathanial had kept mostly to himself, just watching the others. He wasn't that interested in getting to know any of them. The only people he really cared about were his own gang, and it was bad enough he'd left them to join up with this crew. He'd fight with 'em, but he wasn't planning to die for any of them if things got rough.

The boss seemed to have his plan in order, though, and Nathanial just wandered through the crowd, keeping Fang close and Candle on his shoulder as he sized up people individually. Fang didn't like the crowd very much. The big Granbull wasn't used to so many strangers, and Nathanial kept a reassuring hand on her back.

Candle didn't care one way or the other about people. She'd perk up if there was a fight, but not until then. For the raggedy Skitty, the interest was in the other pokemon, and she watched them with her one good eye the same way that Nathanial watched the people.

When George told them to move out, Nathanial fell in with the group headed to abduct the son.

Before I knew it I was standing alone with pistol, my face blank like a total idiot. I looked down at Pistol. I have made that a habit lately. He just rolled his eyes casually. I stood and thought. <I have to go talk to George sooner or later.> I thought. I walked over to where George was and blurted out, " I would like to help with the kidnapings please." I said but getting slower as I ended, noticing I did it again, rammed into someone's' conversation. I looked down slightly.

"Alright then Arlin" George said, then turned his attention back to the entire room, "Alright, lets go" he said with more confidence then he felt.

OOC: Timeskip to either waiting for John in an alley or waiting in the building for the ambush
