Ignoring Ozy's orders, Miki remained still in her position?hanging upside down on a tree?until she abruptly fell down. The lightning that frightened David made her jump, causing her to fall flat on her face.

"Ouch?" She groaned as picked herself up. With slightly shaky feet, Miki dashed to her tent, teeth clenched. "Should?ve listened to Ozy?" She muttered to herself, wiping the trickle of blood sliding across her cheek.

I was slightly wondering why there were such things as cottonmouths here, considering this was a pokemon world, when the storm started. I scooped up my cards and plaed them back intheir protective case before putting it back in my pocket. " I think we better get into our tents before we get soaked." I shouted the suggestion so everyone could hear.

"It's, err, all right, really." I said, trying not to blush any redder, and failing. I should be more understanding, I knew that. But still, it was a rather akwardmoment, and I had yet to pull my hands away from Rachel. Truth be told, I didn't intend to any time soon....

"how about focusing on getting ready for the storm instead of playing Romeo and Juliet? 'I called irritably over to Rober as I placed my Deck, Calculator, and notebook in with my Ds in a waterproof bag in my backpack. "It's about to rain buckets right on top of us, in case you haven't noticed."

Kristen whimpered when the storm had started. Each flash of lightning brought her closer to plain fear. kristen was deathly afraid of strong storms, particularily oens that could turn into tornados. Kristen shook her head and sat perfectly still in the middle of her tent. She tried to think of happier things and for the moment, it worked. That is until another clap of thunder happened. Kristen hugged herself tightly and lay down in the tent.

<OOC>Errr, Pogi, most of us are already in out tents.<OOC>
Normally, I liked storms, liked seeing nature unleashed. Even if it meant trudging uphill in a blizzard with the wind hitting your face, it was better than a peaceful day. Though I enjoyed those, too, this just made me feel so much more...alive. Almost dead a minute ago, maybe dead the next, but for now, glouriously alive. The wind whipped at the nylon tent, beat at it and howled. It didn't penatrate. I wasn't worried, I had set up the tent well. Until I heard something groaning. I thought Gods send that isn't a guywire.

I tilted my head slightly. "I think the wind may be a bit more then this tent can handle" I said, stating the obvious. I didn't like what the odds looked like if my statement was correct. I was used to cold. I also knew how Hypothermia worked. I looked at Robert and Nekhbet for a moment, before saying "if it comes down to it, and if Ozy isn't around, I advise that you end up following my orders. I know a lot about Hypothermia, such as treatment and prevention."

I nodded. "This is a military issue though, I hope it's strong enough that we won't have to worry about that." I explained, but looking as the wind went the fabic of the tent rolling in waves against its supports. Naturally, since Rachel had been brought up in a very cold climate, she knew a lot about hypothermia, and I asn't about to even think of crossing her...

The wind was the worse part of that storm, for sure. I couldn't even hear the others in their tents from mine, since the howling of the wing blocked them out. The only sources of light I had, were my laptop screen, and a flashlight dangking from the top of the tent, which eventually fell victim to the winds, falling to the ground.

I didn't care how their tents were holding up. The walls of mine were beating feircely from the wind and rain. I braced myself inside, amazed by how fierce the storm was. I had never seen anything like it before. I silently prayed nothign of mine woudl get soaked, and I berrated myself for bringing cards and electronics on a camping trip.

Catching my breath, I blinked. "Hypothermia?" I asked. The tent shook with dangerous force. Then, hearing Sean, I yelped and jumped under the saftey of a sleeping bag. "It's raining buckets! We'll be crushed!" I yelled, shaking under the heavy material.

OOC: Like I said, jumping to conclusions too quickly. XD

"Oh, bloody hell" I yelled, hearing a distinctive twang. I'd heard it once before, one one of the first backpacking trips I'd ever been on. I shook my head as I remembered the lesson I'd taken from that incident, Never go backpacking in the mountains in midwinter. The first guywire was gone, I could see a corner of the tent lifting already. The others would soon follow, although that wasn't as bad as what I thought might be happening. Sure enough, a rip appeared in the nylon of my tent, then another. And another. We wer in for an ice storm. Grabbinbg my sleeping bag for pretection and slinging my pack onto my back, I hurridly ripped my way out of the tent and shouted (though I doubted many could hear me) "Everyone! Follow me, we need to look for a place to weather this out!"

I just barely heard Ozy call, and darted out of the tent almost immediately, making sure I had my laptop, amoung other things. It felt like the temperature had dropped at least 10 degrees since before the storm started, which worried me. "I think I saw a cave down by the river earlier. I didn't get a chance to check it out, but I know it's there!"

I could hear Ozy yelling, and I bolted out of the tent, feeling the harsh winds aginst me, but it wasn't enough to even cause a mis-step. It was hard to see Ozy through the ice-rain, but i moved toward him, though keeping close enough to the tent that once Robert and Nekhbet got out, I was close enough to get them to Ozy. It was difficult to breathe, but I managed it easily enough. I had to see to the safety of the others first, before taking care of myself. "If you guys have anything water-proof, wear it!" I said above the wind, knowing that getting wet was the first step to getting dead.

Miki hugged her knees close to her, trembling faintly. Thunder roared and lightning struck while the wind busied itself by blowing out her and her friends' tents. She sighed. "Anything could have been better than this!" She groaned, tightening her grip on her knees.

She vaguely heard Ozy's call and surveyed her surrounding to see why they needed to move. Her teeth clenched. Her tent was slowly lifting off the ground, and it was ripping up quickly, too. Hastily, she packed all her possessions inside her backpack and grabbed her skateboard, using it for fortification, then persistently made her way out, paying no heed to the scratches she got. It was her fault for securing her tent so good that she couldn't get out of it.

She briskly walked towards David and Ozy, allowing them to lead the way to wherever they were going.

I darted out of the tent, wearing one orange poncho, and carrying several small bags with similar ponchos in them. "Here, quick!" I shouted over the storm, handing one to rachel as I managed to catch up to her, despite the torrential rains thundering around us. "Are you all right?" I asked, the storm subduing my voice slightly. Rachel was my first concern, I could worry about myself and the others once she was safe...

After getting out of the tent (and the sleeping bag), it felt almost imediately that the wind was attempting to buffet us down. I held on tight to my backpach, and slipped on a windbreaker, thoguh it had little effect in this kind of storm. Judging from around us, the campsite was getting hit quite badly. Tents were slowly goign up, and trees were bending threateningly low.

Kristen grapped her pink bag with a Mew on it and ran out of the tent upon hearing Ozy's call. Kristen could barely make out forms through the combination of ice and rain. As soon as she was out of her tent, it began to rip apart and fly away with the strong wind. Kristen whimpered and made her way towards the others, all the while getting hit with big drops of rain and shards of ice.

I slipped it on, saying "I'm fine. Get moving, all of you!" as I scanned the area, realising that Sean and Kristen were still here. "Ozy, get them all out of here, I'll follow when I have the others! Robert, go with him, don't argue with me." I called, though the last part was quieter since only he needed to hear me. I braced myself aginst the wind, waiting for the others, praying they would be okay...

"Like I'll leave you alone to do that" I shouted back. These people were my responsibility. My folly had put us all out here, I had to get us out, no matter the personal cost. Foolish of me to try and predict the weather around here, it was too conditional. Still, this seemed a little too sudden...No matter. we were stuck in it. I added "Anyone who wants too, get out of here! Stick to the low ground!" This was getting more and more dangerous by the minute. I could already feel the ice cutting my arms. Thid red lines were forming around various cuts. 'GO" I bellowed. "NOW!"
