Mood: Get ready for some smangin' tunes!

"Daily Bloggity Radio Jam is the newly revolutionized Underground Tuesdays. Instead of highlighting five songs from myself, it will instead highlight five songs from other users including one from myself. Excluding my song, it will be a friendly competition to see what PC's favorite weekly songs are, as well as just all and all showcasing users to music that is out there. This will be a weekly edition to the Daily Bloggity appearing every Tuesday at 5PM Eastern Time."

    How it works:
    • Vote for your favorite song by commenting below on the entry. This is how people will earn points. You can vote for 2 people per week.
    • The person with the most points gets to stay in the ring for another week. The 3 other participants will be knocked out of the ring for 1 week's time, in which they'll be able to reenter the ring after that time frame.
    • If you would like to be featured in next week's entry, comment below with your enthusiasm (as well as your vote for your favorite DJ.) I'll be sending a PM to you if you have been selected for the following week's entry.

This is embarrassing for me, but my vote goes to Klippy. I'd like to vote old school for Luck hax, but I don't care for Simon and Garfunkel

  • oh, if I have to vote for two then Luck Hax and Hika. that's the only Arctic Monkeys song (or one of the only ones) I can stand, tbh.

Not a fan of the Arctic Monkeys?
not huge on 'em. a lot of their stuff sounds really samey and derivative to me. plus I hate the vocals and lyrics (can't remember the guy's name although I probably should). if I'm gonna listen to something in that style I'm gonna go for The Strokes, Interpol, maybe Bloc Party, The White Stripes, etc. u feel me.

Hopefully you mean old Bloc Party - as in the first 2 CDs (Silent Alarm/Weekend In The City). New Bloc Party sucks.

oopsies just saw this now. Silent Alarm is their only worthwhile album in my opinion. they got really really bad after that'un. and even Silent Alarm has some really questionable songs -- more of a nostalgia thing than anything at this point.

You don't like Weekend In The City? I thought that album was more tolerable than Silent Alarm as some songs on their debut album were pretty questionable (Price of Gas for instance which had that ear piercing screeching sound at the beginning, ugh)

Silent Alarm has way more sentimental value for me. never listened to Weekend in the City very much, but from what I heard it was really generic and boring. at least Silent Alarm had "Banquet," "This Modern Love," "Like Eating Glass," "Positive Tension," etc
