Well, we dropped to a stretch where the highs were in the high 50s at the end of September (not surprising), but we haven't had a high lower than 65 since the 30th, iirc. And, oddly enough, our nicest days for the past month have usually been on days when the Twins have a home game.

Some mornings have been down near 40, though.

I'm guessing Spanish class, its mandatory to take a language in the US for at least 2 years and colleges look for at least 4 years :o

basic skills in spanish gurl xD i've only taken a year in it, but at work i have to exercise my spanish skill daily to help the kids with spanish curriculum. so my memory is improving!

Haha I like Australia, we don't have to take another language and they don't offer it, either. I do reember learning some Indonesian in primary school, though.

It's a pretty common thing to know in America, since we interact with Hispanics a fair bit no matter where we live in the country.

yeah we have to take some kind of language course, i think the number of years we have to take it varies from state to state. it's an inconvenient necessity D; but not something i struggle with so yay

Well, Ivy League schools are kinda in a class of their own with their requirements, but there are some better schools not considered an Ivy League school for most degrees they offer. Most of those are medical and technology schools, though, iirc.

I'm going to Penn State, and I think they require 4 years so I'll take them to be on the safe side.
