the tv screen in my room is about the size of my computer screen (and a mac which supports hi-def viewage) so if i can find a quality version it'd probably actually be nicer to view on my mac. but nah, my family has netflix for a reason...none of us have used it yet, except me and my bro had like a horror film night and wasted our "first five free movies" on that >_> but um anyway

also twilight sky i replied to you in an edit you werent ignored i promise ;m;

omfg there are like four conversations going on at once everyone is ninjaring each other.

I, of course, am the most Ninja.

Well, I've been thinking that it's more than just coincidence, I mean, everyone wanted a pure flying type for like ever and now it happened in B/W. Everyone wanted more strange type mixtures and now it also happened in B/W. Team Plasma that was once rumors also came true. :(

So yeah, that's why I'm thinking it's sorta likely. xDD

Hmmm truee... though I do think that since Serebii does go to PC, and he knows some people he could put in a good word? :D Just mention Serebii in every post where you're stating you want something for the third game so he'll notice. XD

Umm, I can't really think of anything else besides that though. D:

ROM Hacking isn't illegal. Obviously, in order to hack, we should need ROMs and most of us will possibly have acquired them illegally, but they honestly don't really care when we're not biting into their profit anymore (because they don't even sell GBA games anymore haha). Video game developers stances on ROM Hacking vary intensely, and Nintendo's is generally "as long as you don't make money and pretend it's all yours, we don't care".

I thought Serebii makes rare appearances nowadays. :( It could be just that he's possibly more of a lurker and never posts.

I remember when he posted in B/W at some point during the lead up to the release. It was so exciting.

On the topic of ROMs, I don't care whether people hack them or use them, just as long as they don't post them, lol. I didn't even know using ROMs on a flash...thing was bad.

i know what you mean and no need fer 'pologies, DCC is hard to keep up with when there are like slightly under 9000 conversations taking place ~_~

but yeah i doubt they actually did steal my idea but it's vaguely similar to mine, think it's just a coincidence. but if they did i'm cool with it cuz every good idea has a source of inspiration! so i don't really mind bein copied n all. but it's interesting to think of them following their fans, we're the ones who support the franchise and in order to keep our fancies tickled they have to know what tickles our fancy! if you know what i mean o_ o

and ah, here's my fakemon:
Spoiler:

flashcart.

that thing that you put into your GBA/DS whatsit and put games onto. technically legal if you got your ROM legally...which, if you did, you wouldn't need the flashcart, so, well, usually illegal. haha

My DSTT has like 30 games on it, 80% of which I don't play much.

Well to be honest, I've never really used ROMs myself and I'm sorta clueless on how I would ever use them, and to me downloading them and going through them is too much effort when I have too many things to do already. ;___;

And I know of obtaining and playing through certain hacks through flash carts. They're sorta expensive for the most part(I could be wrong, but thats as far as I know. The DS flash cart, anyway.). But once you get them, you can play like, any hack or something that you get(that will fit on the flash cart, at least).

I tried a ROM hack once I think years ago because someone I knew was like "this is illegal so play it" or something, idek.

Umm, I know Scott/Siggy both have one and I didn't even know it was sorta illegal, lol.

=) and i drew it like, last year sometime. but they probably had a lot of their gen 5 ideas set in stone at that time >x>

honestly there are a ton of fanmade pokemon i think nintendo could use, lol. not a huge fan of gen 5 :o(

That's pretty good Sav. :D

...though I think they had 1000 ideas back from gen 1, according to the rumours relating to why Munna was referenced in generation 1 and why Gastrodon was meant to be in gen 3.

hmmmmmmm recycling ideas i guess that says a lot (runnin out of ideas are we nintendo :X) hurm but thanks!

@twilight hehe yeah precisely why i won't even attempt to confront them ~aside from being too lazy to~

I still think the designs of generation 5 are much better than the 4th generations. Maybe it's due to not getting used to the starters, but Chimchar/Turtwig/Penguin thing just don't look like Pokemon, while Tsutaaja/Pokabu and Mijumaru (the latter, maybe not as much) do look like Pokemon to me. XD;

i think gen 5 might be.....slightly more diverse in creatures, based on more abstract ideas rather than irl animals. nah mean? but yah, i'll be one of "those guys" who prefers gen 2 over all else. pokemon were monsters back in those day, now they've become a bit too cutesy and minimal for my tastes :C

How could you forget Piplip's name? ;D

On the subject of BW starters, it's funny. At the start, when only the first stages were revealed, everyone thought Pokabu was awesome, Tsutajaa was pretty cool (but had legs!) and that Miji sucked. Come the games and, while Pignite evolves into this silly-looking fighter thing, Wotter evolves into a Dialga-like narwhal. In other words:

Smugleaf -> Charmeleon -> Dragonair
Pignite -> Makuhita -> Hariyama
Wotter -> Marshtomp -> Dialga

yell hes!

It's funny because Piplup was the only starter I've ever had in Sinnoh (yeah never restarted Pearl lol).

And yeah I was like a big fangirl of gen 2, too, but now gen 5 just is so much more to me. I'll never forget the magic of gen 2 Pokemon but... HG/SS sort of killed Johto for me, including most of the Pokemon. XD;;;
