One Piece gets better after that arc. If I recall, Water 7, that's technically the best arc.

Soul Eater the anime goes completely off on its own path after the Medusa arc. Still hoping the Repeat Show will have episodes that follow the manga up to a certain point, though I doubt it.

It got really slow around Skypeia which was probably why I stopped. If would just watch Ranma 1/2 again if I wanted Comedy. I would read Soul Eater Manga, but right now I am trying to find time to read Kekkaishi.
